Who is the BOSS ?

In the first game James was the lead one, both worked together and Chris had her own moments, right ?
But what now ?
- Should Chris and James have their own particular events and impact the main plot ?
- Should James be a NPC (non-player character) only ?
- Keep things like they are ?
So many thoughts and possibilities that will feed our imagination creating content.
We want to clarify this won't necessarily be a rule to be followed, we want to see what's in your minds.
None of the options bellow ?
