Most of us are expecting the "obvious," when in reality I think the author has been leading us by the nose - getting us all thinking we know where this is going - and is giddily waiting to pull the rug from underneath us. I believe what A' and Naruto discussed is something entirely different than what any of us expect. I believe they had enterily mundane political discussion, possibly about setting up official embassies between each Village - and possibly setting Hinata to be Konoha's ambassador to Kumo, due to her already good working relationship with A'. This is the closest to truth what happened and will happen, I believe. Can't claim I'm not excited about the reveal though - but I have confidence in that the author will surprise us regardless.
