Quick Update

As noted in a community post I put up on the channel, I had some monetisation/ad suitability issues with YT on the most recent video release. The good news is that those problems were eventually overturned after an appeal.
I did want to do two things here though:
Thank all of you who support me here. It's the primary reason I can be confident producing content that I think is worth making even when there's a risk of this kind of thing happening
Say that for those of you who signed up after that announcement expecting that the YT issue wouldn't be resolved or would impact more videos, if you would like a refund, please just send me a message or email I will put one through for you. I appreciate the backing, but really don't want to be accepting any support under false presumptions. If you would like to stay of course, welcome!
Regarding the channel more broadly, I'm still in the middle of the busy, airport intensive phase of the year at the moment - something that should actually lead to a cool members update here in about two weeks. Q4 should hopefully have a more regular release schedule without the release times bouncing around as much.
I also have a very large backlog of messages here to get through (and going through older ones that may have been missed at the time). That process is likely to start when I'm back in Aus so thanks for your patience on that one.
Again, cheers to all of you for the support, hope you were happy with the product that came out of the last Patron poll, and I'll see you on Sunday for the oil refinery campaign (with a healthy dose of history and data).

But I'd like to see Perun do an episode about how the climate and weather affect wars and battles, and about how they affect Ukraine. There are some obvious examples of the past (typhoon) and some obvious examples in Ukraine (mud season, can't fly drones in strong wind) but I'm sure there are a lot I don't know about.

A funny aside is one of my friends wives told me in seceret that she heard her husband listening to your content and remarked that they shouldn't tease me as her husband is getting into your content.... I was a proverbial fly on the wall to the wind-down of the Iraq and Afghan wars and the accompanying US Army "force reduction," as my MOS at the time dealt specifically with that policy shift. Mostly in the administrative end, but it also required me to receive the mental and medical exams for my case files, and even dealing with the possible resulting parallel administrative/medical separations. I can personally confirm even the legal and administrative arms of the United States military, even if operating in a utopia of perfect synergy, efficiency and given the monetary equivalent of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter program... could not handle the bureaucratic tsunami coming to both the Russian and Ukrainian armies in the near future. By the way, as I understand from what you have described the mental health care situation is for Russian soldiers, me and other veterans/soldiers that had been/are stationed in Fort Hood had/have a better mental heath care network than the average Russian solder currently has, and that's including that one time when one of our psychiatrists at the post's outpatient clinic TRIED TO KILL EVERYBODY. That's such an awful thought, I don't care what nation's army someone is in, they deserve better than that.
