Topics for March
Added 2023-03-12 09:00:37 +0000 UTCTonight's video looks good to go live on time (as long as YT cooperates) and will be covering the progress of the Economic/industrial side of the war over the winter (sanctions, the energy war, and military production primarily).
I've separated out the original second part (the military side of the winter campaign and questions of attrition and force (re)generation (the latter of which could probably have been their own video but also goes ok with the winter campaign stuff).
There are three topics that are in pretty good shape (and a bunch more that are coming along well to boot) which make for good candidates for the next two weeks.
The first is to do the winter campaign episode as noted above. The second is to look at hypersonic weapon systems (topical given the recent use of Killjoys by Russia), and the third is to look at the air-war (rather than just air defence) and tie it to the debate over providing Ukraine western aircraft.
You're the Patrons, and hopefully by now you know that I value your opinions, so I thought I'd throw the question to the crowd as usual.

As a fellow Aussie however, given the recent developments around, especially the new submarine deal. I can't help but think "What would Perun think of this". I would love to hear your perspective on this! Feels like everyone is shit-canning the AUKUS sub deal while it makes pretty great sense to me. p.s: you are welcome to use 'shit-canning' in your next video :-D Love your work mate

With all the cancellations and the incredibly long delays in choosing equipment ei Lynx vs Redback, hunter class frigates or more Awd destroyers etc. Itβs been a total roller coaster and by the time we choose and have them built, it may be to late for the defence of Australia.
