A note on YT monetisation
Added 2022-10-08 23:23:49 +0000 UTCHi all. As many of you would know there was a mass demonetisation event on YT which I made a post about.
I believe that issue is resolved for me (albeit not for all creators at time of writing). I do not know if that fix will be permanent, but I hope it is.
During the outage a surge of people subscribed to this Patreon. I appreciate that, as the Patreon allows me to spend more time on YT than I otherwise would. But at the same time, I do not want anyone subscribed here thinking they're stepping up in an emergency which seems to have quickly past.
If you joined because of the demonetisation event (or for any other reason) and would like a refund, please message me here and I'll arrange one. There are people out there who need to grasp every cent, I am not one of them. So if you need a refund, just let me know and I'll get to it when I can.

When I noted quality of your reports I felt obligated to support you knowing how capricious Youtube monetization is.

I might also add my name is not a copy but what my wife’s grandparents called me. I thought it meant “shrimp” or crawdad or something. My last name is my callsign. Anyway cheers
