Tech Update!

Hey everyone! I'm staying possitive, here's the update though.

I finally managed to migrate my tools to a borrowed laptop, got it all working and I shall begin work asap.

I also removed the hard drive from my dead laptop to examine the files, and It was corrupted I then recovered the files.

All images are ok, I have the timelapses I recorded the day before the incident, and even a single lineart I exported seconds before my hardware gave in completely.

However the most recent Psd files are 90% corrupted at complete random and can't be opened.

Tried several psd repair tools, and alternatives, and even after repair, most files have empty layers. Ongoing works are nothing to worry about as I saved the sketches for most, which helps a lot.

It's a true shame to have lost those files. I love my project files and how much is in them. I never give up remotely easily and this only really means a few steps back and letting go of some personal Psds I had in progress. Thanks for your patience!

I'm now in the process of opening Psds one by one to eventually isolate the uncorrupted ones from the corrupted, and out of the corrupted, separate those that have recoverable data through repair tools, and those that are completely lost. This might take some time but it's something I will do passively at the same time as I work!
