Chapter 75 - Evening (Day 5)

There were two major takeaways from the conversation Nick had with his sister's that early evening. Nick mostly listened, but did interject his two cents every so often, while his middle sister Ashley filled their younger sister Lynn in on their incestuous afternoon. Currently the family was finishing up dinner. Just as Nick stood up to clean his plate Lynn spoke up saying, "Dad, Ashley and I were thinking of watching vampire diaries tonight, would you please watch it with us?!" Nick and his father shared a look. Neither of them were a big fan of the show, but Daniel got roped into watching quite a bit, bonding being the most common excuse. "I'm not sure I want to watch that show while I'm on vacation girls... you know I'm not a huge fan.." Daniel answered reluctantly. "Please daddy?..." Ashley said and everyone looked a little surprised. "Ashley you actually want me to watch with you two too?" Daniel asked a little surprised that Ashley was pushing for this as well. Ashley glanced at Nick ever so briefly and then said, "Yes daddy.. we like watching that show with you too. It's like our show.." Daniel shared a look with Nick and Loriand shrugged as if to say What are you gonna do?then actually said, "Guess we're watching vampire diaries tonight."

Nick laughed and said, "Yeah right... count me out.. Sorry guys, but you know I hate that show.." Lynnstuck out her tongue and said, "You're lame!" Everyone shared a little laugh at that. Daniel said, "Well what are you going to do?" Daniel asked. Nick shrugged, "If it's cool with you, maybe I'll just watch something on the tv in your room?" Nickoffered as an answer. The cabin only had two TVs, a big one in the living room area and a medium sized one in the master bedroom. "Sure yeah, that's fine. We'll probably just watch like one episode." Daniel replied. "No dad four! We're on vacation! Let's binge!" Lynn butted in excitedly. "How about two?" Daniel offered. Clearly trying to talk her down.

"Three!" Lynn countered quickly. Looking defeated yet with a content smile Daniel said, "Okay fine, we can watch three." Lynn gave her brother a quick wick as if to say, you're welcome, thankfully no one seemed to notice. Looking over at his mother Nick said, "Would you maybe watch something with me mom?" Lori looked a little surprised, she looked at her daughters and husband as if they should answer for her for some reason. Nick could tell she was struggling internally about being alone with him, but also struggling to find an excuse to say no. As she made eye contact with her husband Daniel who just shrugged and said, "I'll watch... vampire diaries... with our girls." he said the title with a small amount of disdain in his voice but continued, "You can watch something with our boy." Lori looked nervous, though Daniel seemed not to notice. She replied, "Sure. Sounds like a plan." As normally as she could manage. "It's decided! Okay let's go daddy!" Lynn said standing and grabbing her dad's arm, pulling him into the living room. Ashley also stood up and silently went in the living room with Lynn and their father. Did she however flash Nicka little smile that he read as, See you later.

Nick was alone now with his mother, but the others were still certainly in earshot. "Are you ready mom." Lori stood still looking a little nervous, and it looked like she was on guard. Nickgrabbed her hand and led her to the master bedroom. She made no effort to stop him or pull away, but Nick did notice she stared at the floor as they walked and she looked a little sad. Before long they reached the master and Nick shut the door behind them. He considered locking it, but thought that might send to obvious a message so he left it unlocked, for now at least. He also considered hypnotizing her immediately, however he'd realized he was having more fun tempting his mother into incest without pushing her subconscious so he decided not to do that either, at least right away. Though, he would if he thought he needed to. "Why did you shut the door?" Loriasked standing by the bed a little awkwardly, holding the back of her arm with the other across her body.
