2025-06-17 23:20:49 +0000 UTCWhen this originally aired, we fans had NO IDEA whether the series was going to continue from this point, because the writer's strike showed no signs of ending and the network execs showed no signs of compromising. In some ways, this was written as a potential finale to the series, just in case they couldn't continue. At least it has a little bit of satisfaction and closure in that our crew DO make it to Earth, and the rest of the plot could have been left to the imagination of the fans. Fortunately, the writer's strike ended, the execs compromised, and the sci-fi network committed to finish the series. It's still a roller-coaster from here on. Buckle your seatbelts. And if you can, watch "The Plan" right after Episode 15 because that's the best place for it. The 3-part Finale deserves to be the final say for the series because nothing else can match it, and anything seen afterward is anti-climatic. Also, be aware that not everyone can stream "The Plan" because it has to be purchased, it's hard to find, and I'm not sure it's even part of any of the boxed sets (?) -- at any rate, I hope you will arrange to create an edited version for release on Patreon and YouTube that shows as much of it as you can for those who can't stream the whole thing. There is also a mini-webseries called "The Face of the Enemy" that gives more info about Gaeta; it's worth watching but it too is very hard to find online in a complete form. It originally aired during the break after this current episode 10, although by timeline I believe it actually takes place just after episode 11. I'm sure others have told you these things too! :-)
