I love Tigh's character. Most of the time he seems like this one dimensional blowhard and just chews up the scenery - then he has those subtle deliveries like when he looked at Adama and said, "I did" like a little boy caught doing something wrong. The man is PHENOMINAL. Another moment like that was after the rescue from New Caprica when Adama said, "You did it. You brought 'em home," and Saul weakly replied, "Not all of them."

I went to the Into the AM link first and that shirt was legit the one I put in my cart. Good choice Paula!

A lot going on in this episode. Lampkin in full pomp, everyone; enjoy the spectacle. He...𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 Tigh with ease; Michael Hogan's performance on the stand, and the wider episode, was electric. For all of Saul's telephone book's worth of failings, Adama has his back, a Kirk and McCoy level of friendship. Meanwhile the Admiral and Lee torch what is left of theirs, then Lee nukes his bridges from orbit and nukes his marriage and Roslyn's presidency as an encore. Bamber rewrote his speech in court overnight as he felt Lee had more to say and the producers let him roll with it, and boy did he. The 'Captain Apollo' callback when Roslyn confided to him about her cancer on the stand was just nuclear levels of hurt. And notice Daddy Adama has been drinking a bit more for a while? Six using Lampkins loss tactic on Tigh. Ooh, a Cylon taking manipulation tips from a human. Or just two Cylons comparing notes? The song. Hmm. either Swarathma or Parikrama are on tour in the frrrrakkin' ship, or there's a pirate radio station in the fleet. Tigh's 'It's in the walls' was unintentionally hilarious to me. I almost expected him to do a Geoff Peterson and ask if anybody had seen a pantomime horse in the ship. 😂

Have you noticed that he's drinking more?

Adama hasn't been the main focus of the last couple of episodes, but every scene he's in screams that he's going to pieces in the background. He grounds Lee, he wants Lee back in the air. He pushes him towards the law, he pulls him away from it. He's really doesn't seem to know what he's doing or why, he's just lashing out.

Jonathan

I don't know if that line was meant to be funny, but godsdamn it cracks me up. I was expecting him to do a Geoff Peterson and ask if anyone had seen a horse. 😁

Troy Convers

No, the Galactica does not have a holodeck. 🤣 RDM was very clear that the amount of escapism for these people was minimal. However that location of the vision SHOULD be familiar - it's the Opera House on Kobol, where D'anna saw the Five in the middle of this season, and Baltar was shown Hera by Head!Six way back in the first Season Finale... interesting Roslin is dreaming of a place so far associated with Cylon visions. Also, Dee, I love ya, but really, you gonna stick by your man through an emotional affair with Starbuck, but defending Baltar is a line too far? Maybe it's cause he tainted the credibility of the hope for Earth? I dunno, still seems a funny line. As for Adama, I think his treatment of Lee is all to do with Starbuck. He's still grieving and he's not only taking it out on his son, but he's also putting distance between them. I think he's doing it to protect himself. He doesn't want to lose someone else close to him so he's driving his son away. Add on top of that he likely already knew Roslin's illness returned, he was probably feeling incredibly vulnerable as he not only lost Starbuck, he's potentially losing Roslin as well. Oh yes, and it's almost TOO subtle, but I think what twigged Lee to Roslin's Kamala use was her insistence on Tigh talking to the Six because of her "feeling" Six would protect Hera. Roslin following "feelings" is a very vision-esque thing, and that feeling that Six would protect Hera is in fact BECAUSE of her dream in the Opera House where Six picked Hera up.

Nolan

The Captain acting as lead Judge is played by Micheal Hogan's wife, who frankly is amazing, as in the same year she has had to deal with her husband suffering a brain bleed that put him in a coma and paralyzed him to the point where he has been re-learning to walk, but IIRC, also had to deal with their daughter being in a car accident that immobilized her, while pregnant - the baby was fine, she gave birth, but holy frak she's a damn trooper to get through all that as a rock for her family.

Nolan

Huge if true

It's because THEY'RE IN THE FRAKKING PATREON!

Troy Convers

I can hear the music at 5:04. What does that mean?!
