Oh definitely! The mix of Kerr Avon and Vila Restal are the two unmissables of British SF

Josef Schiltz

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Blake's 7. Terry Nation's bastard child of Dr Who is still great and the 'gritty British Sci-fi' that Paula thought Red Dwarf was from the intro to 'The End'.

Troy Convers

Then there's Department S! That had some really surreal mysteries and that brilliant theme tune - one of my all-time favourites. Maybe some of the first episode titles might entice? Six Days The Trojan Tanker A Cellar Full Of Silence The Pied Piper Of Hambledown One Of Our Aircraft Is Empty The Man In The Elegant Room Handicap Dead A Ticket To Nowhere Blackout The Double Death Of Charlie Crippen Who Plays The Dummy? Whaddaya think, Kat and Paula? The series was co-created by Dennis Spooner who was script editor and writer for some of the early Hartnells.

Now that would be trippy for them to watch. But, if they like it there would be a whole range of 60's/70’s ITC programming they'd like. Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) would surely be a good fit for them?

Troy Convers

Oh wow that's Christopher Lloyd. aka the og rick.

Ashley

Never seen this before, but really enjoyed it so far. I'm a huge fan of creepy, folktale type stuff and this really scratches that itch. Pretty sure my wife would like this as well so I'll be showing her them too.

Chris Devlin

Just curious, Kat. Have you or Paula ever seen The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan?

Josef Schiltz

The episodes all aired in one week, two episodes a day. It was pitched as a ongoing show called "Into The Unknown" but CN and Pat McHale decided it was better as a miniseries. Fun Fact: A potter's field is slang for a grave for a poor or unknown person. Potsfield comes from that.
