I didn't catch the jacket on first viewing but later I suspected there was Moffat shenanigans in that scene. Moffett can confuse me but not trick me... much

2024-09-05 22:29:17 +0000 UTCThere is something I want to point out. in the previous episode, River didn't realize that the Romans were a trap despite the fact that Rory was one of them, and she seemed shocked to find his picture in Amy's room. so it is quite possible that, just like Amy, she forgot he exist and didn't have to pretend not to know who he is. Also, I think Amelia didn't hide until the museum closed, she hid until everybody else were erased from existence. their fading wasn't a "time passing by" effect.
