I love this show so much, a friend at Uni got me to watch it, (she loved Starbuck so much she actually got a pilot license) but anyway, I love it so much, but I also know the pain you are going to go through in later seaons and I am terrified for you.

2024-06-12 22:38:31 +0000 UTCI changed my Microsoft Teams background for work calls to a shot of Baltar's house on Caprica, looking out of the bay windows towards the lake 🤣. No one's recognised it yet. The location is in Vancouver, along with a lot of the forest shoots. Gonna go there at some point. 2024-06-12 18:46:37 +0000 UTCOh, and just as an aside about what’s to come (no spoilers) — in the commentary track (which was done as a podcast _while_ the show was in production, right after the cut of each episode was finalized, so an interesting perspective!) the producers finished this episode with, “and that’s the end of Season 1 of Battlestar Galactica, hope you enjoyed it.” They really did treat this episode as the end of a story that had started all the way back with “33”. The “running from Cylons, with no clear objective, wondering when the Fleet will realize no one in power knows anything about Earth, if it even exists” part ends, and the “search for Earth” part begins…
