Update!

Thanks everyone for you patience this month. It was pretty scary to think that I would possibly never be drawing again but it seemed like I just needed a long break to refocus.

Some things I was struggling with was the quality of my work and progression of my art seemed to be going backwards and I was not excited about anything I was drawing. I was almost forcing myself to draw my comics and series according to trying to get them finished rather then just the joy of it. Each day, I get excited about a drawing my next inspiration and those inspirations end up sitting dormant in my head, nagging me while I’m in the middle of a project. I want to finish off projects but at my own time so expect more randomness in what I am drawing day to day. If you are looking to read a comic or story or series from beginning to end, Patreon has set up a system for me to take a post to sell which you can purchase once its done. I don’t mind reminders about a series that is dormant but please do not nag me. I will draw it when I get inspired to draw it.

I also have to be realistic about doing commissions. Don’t get me wrong… I LOVE drawing for all of you and it was the thing I missed the most during this month long break. However, every time I draw commissions, it saps all of my imagination to the point of hating to draw. It happens every time and I tried to do things like BB bucks or FanWeek but nothing seems to help. Doing commissions for me for some reason is more than just painful, it makes me never want to never draw again. I can’t have that.

My posting schedule has been a little bit insane considering how busy I am. I do allocate drawing every morning however some art takes longer than others and I tend to rush it to get finished. I want each panel of a comic to be a work of art so I intend to take more time with each one in the future. This will slow down progress of comics quite a bit but writing/ penciling/ inking/ colouring/ shading/editing is a ton of work for the quality of comic I want to produce.

I’m going to try and post three times a week. Monday/Wed/Friday. It may be just a random feed and I will try and organize them when I can and I gaurentee it WILL be difficult to read a serial on Patreon when the pages are all over the place however, I have WAY more control over discord and that is always the BEST place to read a serial.

Okay… bitching over. I am always grateful that I have people who are basically just paying to make sure I never stop drawing (which is a reality as my business gets busier and busier every year). As long as you keep pushing me with your support, I will keep drawing!
