Little Lorna finds her Prince Charming!
I started following the Royals ever since Princess Diana married into it but the more I followed them over the decades, the less romantic the notion was. I still love following the Royals but mostly the scandalous gossip surrounding the hierarchy and the power the "Family" holds over the lesser members of the house of Windsor.
I'm sure King Charles still exercises the right to "Prima Nocta" with all of his subjects and debutantes.
I know Americans have very little connection with anything Royal and find it all ridiculous but you have your own "privileged" class that hold generational power over its "subjects". I mean, the term "Republicans" means "Those who believe a nation does not need a King". Why the Republicans select their candidate based on power and wealth is beyond me.
... well, not really.
We in Canada elected our own "privileged" class brat to Prime Minister. Ugh! But then again, we do not claim to be a "Republic".
I digress... I think this is morphing into a story that I am really interested in when I started reading up on Duchess Markle and Princess Kate and how they gained into the Royal Family. I think there are plenty of holes in their stories that "Princess Lorna" can fill with her own experience in an alternate universe telling of Little Lorna's adventures.
Judge people based on love, generosity, kindness and compassion and not wealth.
EAT THE RICH!!
...wow, this #yachtgirl series and watching "Succession" every night is bringing me to a dark place! LOL.
Have a great day everyone!
