Question: Sequels or One Shots?

So, it's a very common thing for us ASMR creators to be asked to do sequels (part 2s/3s/etc) to audios but I want to posit the question; would it still be okay if it was the same character but a different scenario in the next audio? (aka each audio with a certain character is a one-shot and the stories are unconnected to each other?)
Leaking a little of the behind the scenes; If I do a series it's usually pre-planned far before I even post the first audio or I've left the ending open ended and because people liked it enough I've made a part 2. The latter, however, tends to be a bit harder for me to make engaging since there wasn't an initial intention to continue the story.
This is more specific to media characters (most recently Ranni for example). I'd perhaps like to do something again with characters I've done before but not necessarily part 2s, just don't really see that happen too much in the ASMR community though so I'm nervous.

2025-06-26 15:06:05 +0000 UTCHonestly it would be really cool to see sequels, like for example in your Lara croft story imagine there's some events like that time she had a doppelganger introduced used as a basis for more stuff that'd be so cool, but it also works well as it's one shot so either way it's cool, Either way ultimately it's up to you based on how you wanna craft your audios and I know I'll be happy with whatever you do ❤️
