How the pudding is made!
I generally only do the story setup on page one, followed by four and a half pages of good sex scenes and then half of the last page for the conclusion. Since I used up two pages for the setup, I am not wasting any time and getting right into it!
As always, I have no script but I do have a general idea where the story is going. On many occasions, some of your funny comments will totally make me change the direction of the comic! Its nice to be able to be flexible when you guys come up with a funny idea!
Each page I treat as a mini story with a punch line or cliff hanger on the last panel with all of the pages contributing to an overall story and punch line at the end of the comic. In this case I have one punchline and a cliff hanger (which leads to the next comic) so I may have to dedicate the entire last page to the conclusion and add a seventh page in order to get Little Lorna and Lindsay enough "intimate moments"!
Since I know where I started from the previous page and where I want to end up, it is just a matter of filling in the other panels to get me where I want to end up at the end of the page. In this case, I didn't have an ending for the page in mind, I just wanted Ripper™ to give it to Little Lorna with his third leg. The rest kind of wrote itself. lol.
I rough the page out keeping in mind to leave plenty of space for panels that will be the "hero panels". That was tough with this one since I really love every panel!! Since the roughs are just used for framing and posing, I will reuse some of the drawings in the roughs (ie. panel 4 and 5 are duplicates of one another).
The dialogue will constantly change as I read and re-read the page while I draw for the next few days.
