The names of the colonies came over from the original series and yes, you did catch that they sound pretty much like the names of our Zodiac. Let me tell you, the Zodiac and Star Signs were HUGE in the 1970s! The stuff was literally and figuratively everywhere! As other people have hinted, this series takes it in a different direction so that's all I have to say.
