Here's where the show gets tricky to talk about with people who haven't seen it and don't want any spoilers. See, there's all these characters with secret twists and they're obviously bad to give away cause they all make for great reveals when we do learn, like Garnet's thing, and Rose Quarts' thing. But there's also all the cool worldbuilding that gets drip fed to us through the entire series cause they like to present exposition in subtle ways that work within the story (where the Gems really don't want to tell Steven about anything) and hold it back so it doesn't overtake the plot and the character drama and all that but they're just facts that make it easier to follow what's happening if you know about them, i.e. the evil space empire and the war 5000 years ago and how gems are grown and their bodies are holograms and all that cool stuff. Hard to navigate how to talk about, but great to watch. :3
