Magic System
Added 2025-04-13 01:26:58 +0000 UTCStage 0 - Untrained 生手
The vast majority of normal people live everyday lives with no magic. They either don’t have the talent for it, don’t care to try it, or prefer practical tools like firearms over the hassle of learning magic.
Stage 1 - Awakened 覺醒
Starters that have cracked open the door to magic but can barely step through. They try hard to summon a tiny spark of fire, a drip of water, or a puff of air, but it’s weak and fades fast. It’s nothing to brag about, but a sign of potential.
Stage 2 - Skilled 熟練
Users can reliably wield one element like fire, water, earth, or wind with enough control to make it count. While it’s still basic, it’s strong enough to be a weapon, so they need a license to use it legally. And an unlicensed user sparking chaos could land in trouble.
Stage 3 - Expert 專家
User molds their magic into basic fusions like fireballs, mud traps, and water blades or form rock armor with skill and precision. They don’t need objects like staffs, wands, or swords to do it, but most use them to boost effectiveness, making their spells sharper, faster, or stronger. Their power shines in combat or specialized work.
Stage 4 - Master 大師
Users can perform complex and large-scale elemental fusions, such as creating massive golem armor, multiple clone puppets, and creating magnetic storms. Their power becomes far more destructive and adaptable, with the ability to shift elements mid-fight, making them highly versatile and unpredictable in combat.
Stage 5 - Divine 神級
Stage 5 users are incredibly rare, almost mythical, and possess the ability to manipulate massive-scale environmental forces such as storms, weather patterns, and underground lava. They wield extreme destructive power and can alter the battlefield on a grand scale, posing a significant threat to both enemies and allies.

Candle Test Reactions for Each Element
Flameweaver (Fire) 煉炎者
Reaction: The candle flame burns brightly and intensely without flickering or dimming. The flame will grow in size and remain steady.
Reason: Fire users naturally influence and connect with flames, amplifying them.
Tidecaller (Water) 喚潮者
Reaction: The candle flame flickers as if it's disturbed by an invisible breeze. The flame is constantly fighting for stability but never quite extinguishes.
Reason: Water users can influence the movement and stability of flames, causing them to flicker or waver.
Frostcaster (Ice) 霜術者
Reaction: The candle flame burns but turns to a pale, icy blue hue. The surrounding air feels colder, and the wax may even begin to freeze, forming ice crystals on the surface.
Reason: Ice users can chill the flame and air around it, causing frost to form.
Corekeeper (Earth) 大地守護者
Reaction: The candle flame burns steadily, but the wax quickly hardens around the flame. The wax may even form a protective barrier or harden in the shape of a small mound or pillar.
Reason: Earth users influence the physical surroundings, especially the structure and foundation of things.
Skyshaper (Wind) 天形者
Reaction: The candle flame flickers wildly, moving with every gust of air, even if there is no visible breeze. The smoke rises in spirals or swirls with an unnatural grace.
Reason: Wind users control airflow, affecting the candle flame and causing its movements to become unpredictable.
Treebinder (Wood) 木靈契約者
Reaction: The candle flame burns at a normal rate, but the wax quickly turns into a smooth, organic texture. Small vines may begin to sprout from the base of the candle or around the wick, slowly growing outward.
Reason: Wood users interact with living things and the environment, so they influence the candle's growth or organic properties.
Voltstriker (Lightning) 雷擊者
Reaction: The flame flickers violently, and the candle may emit small electric sparks or arcs of energy. The wax could burn faster than normal, leaving scorch marks around the candle.
Reason: Lightning users can affect energy flows, and their mana causes the candle's flame to react with intense energy bursts.
Lightbearer (Light) 光耀者
Reaction: The candle flame radiates a pure, blinding light, and the surrounding area becomes brighter. The flame almost seems to glow with a holy or ethereal aura, and the light may even pulse rhythmically.
Reason: Light users naturally control and enhance light, causing the candle’s flame to intensify.
Shadowmancer (Dark) 操影者
Reaction: The candle flame dims and flickers, sometimes fading to near-nothingness, casting dark shadows that seem to move on their own. The room may feel colder or more oppressive.
Reason: Dark users absorb light, causing the candle flame to become weak and darken the surrounding atmosphere.
Transcender (Universal): 無極者
Reaction: The candle's flame flickers unpredictably, shifting colors, bending unnaturally, and relighting itself as the wax either solidifies instantly or vanishes entirely, while creepy shadows twist and stretch unnaturally, and an unsettling glow lingers, casting an unnatural radiance that feels neither warm nor comforting.
Reason: Transcenders break the norm, and their reaction feels mysterious, chaotic, or supernatural compared to the standard elements.
-Personal Comments-
I've been thinking if I should post this now, or later when we reach the Kazakiri's part where Sara talks about it, after giving it a thought, I think I'll just post now, since I think it doesn't really matter, since probably won't be read by most. 👀
This is the base structure for now, and might still make some editing, (at least until we reach that part in the series)
And I would also draw a chart for this in the comic, as for now...it's a general information for anyone who's interested.

Trancender type is a very rare type, like not even among users could even ever meet one, though it would be funny indeed XD

2025-04-13 11:01:35 +0000 UTCThis is a neat fondation to the magic. Now to figure what everyone's mana compatibility is most likly to be; I'll start off with some ideas for some of the non-magic users "if they had a power, what might it be". ---- Angelia; Lightbearer; she's a contageuous happy little ball of sunshine. Also it's in the name... Molly; voltstriker; she was basically raised by robots Seth; trancender; just another thing to brag about Lili; treebinder; seems to have an afinity for nature especially pigeons, plus marigold is a plant. Sophia; treebinder; I'm interpreting "interact with living things" to somehow explain her magic metabolism Miya; Tidecaller, I dunno just seems to fit

2025-04-13 02:45:48 +0000 UTCI like the name Tidecaller. It sounds more intimidating than water user or something.
