I’m right with you there.....just 2 hours away now hopefully!

Brett

I cannot begin to describe how excited I am for tomorrow.

Joshua Gosdin

It wasn't until the HD release of this series that I realized how completely wrecked this guy's body was when the Enterprise crew found him. Those head injuries are the sort of thing I seldom see outside of a liveleak video. I'm surprised the producers had the guts to attempt to air this on broadcast television.

JMiles

Well I'll just add John Doe to the suspected timelords list, Mary Poppins and James Bond being the other two.

Colin 3of5

Can’t wait for next week, even though I know you guys are probably long past watching the finale. Hope the gap between seasons 3 and 4 won’t be too long! I’m going to miss watching Trek with you both after next week.

trylikeafool

You're not the only one, I found this one not only rather boring but very sloppily written and edited frankly, there were a lot of scenes that were going on far too long without much of interest happening, and the romantic sub-plot with Geordi and his confidence just went nowhere and seemed completely pointless (which is a shame in itself given it's the only time I'm aware of that Geordi has an ALMOST completely normal relationship with a REAL human woman lol). Beverley and the alien's "connection" seemed pretty contrived, unearned and pointless too. Oh yeah and they created a species we NEVER SEE AGAIN that have spaceships equal or even a little superior to a Galaxy-class starship, along with the apparent ability to heal any injury, bring the dead back to life and suffocate the entire crew of a ship FROM another ship REGARDLESS of shields- and they promptly do bugger all with 'em. These guys might've been kinda handy to have around against, oh I dunno, the Borg or Dominion don't you think?! Probably just too stupidly over-powered to use again huh

Alistair Hodges

John Doe was basically a Time Lord who could regenerate and heal others with his regeneration energy. John Doe sounds like the John Smith alias The Doctor gives to hide his true identity. Sunad was basically a Sith Lord who could Force Choke people through a screen just like when Darth Vader choked Admiral Ozzel. Darth Sunad would be a cool name for a Sith Lord.

Geordie Joe

Next episodes are probably the most pivotal and important for TNG and another series. Can’t wait till next week

Brett Whittaker

I may be in the minority but that is one of the most forgettable episodes in all the season for me.

Jason Faria

She knows it's a Borg, and that's all she needs to know at the moment.

Bruce Bromley

I’m guessing Katrina doesn’t know yet who’s on her shirt ?

Brett Whittaker

They start after this season's end.

Malcolm Wolf

I've gotta knock a few points off this one for continuing Trek's trend of presenting evolution as a pre-programmed series of steps with a defined goal, rather than the chaotic reaction of a population's genetic distribution to environmental pressures.

Ken Quick

That piece of music at the end is one of my favorite pieces in TNG, and I love every appearance it makes.

Arek Schneyer

Oh boy... this episode was good. But the next one. Its what I've been waiting for since subbing at the beginning of season 2. Honestly the next three episodes are some of my favorite in the whole show.

Jonny Moonsliver

Interesting episode, but "The Best" is yet to come... ;)

Neil McRae

It was fun to rewatch this episode after not seeing it in a few years. But most fun of all... was seeing Katrina's reaction to when Worf fell and broke his neck. You can just see the "Oh no... not another death..." look on her face. lol Anyhow, glad you enjoyed the episode Kat. See you two in one week for the season finale!!

Matthew Berry

You can't really overstate how big that transition from Season 3 to Season 4 is. It's a turning point for the entire franchise, both in the real world and from a story perspective.

Timothy Hennon

I welcomed the pace myself. A standout for me in terms of what seems like a throwaway moment is the subplot of analyzing that blue widget and determining that it held navigational data. I liked seeing them go through the paces, especially between Geordi and Data on the bridge at the end of it. I also liked the technobabble here, when done right it sounds grounded and believable.

Jarrod Wild

This like Pen Pals is one of those episodes that takes place over a long period of time, and I like the more relaxed pace. Also, this one seems to get lost in the shuffle because of the episode that immediately follows it. I feel like on its own merits this episode is an excellent piece of storytelling and feels longer than its 45 minute run time, in a good way.

Jarrod Wild

I grieve with thee

Colin 3of5

My takeaway from this episode is that personal growth is rewarding, but can be painful. And others may try to stop you, either through fear or jealousy. I found the mechanics of the episode to be a bit clunky, though. A quarter of the scenes were either too long, waaay too detailed, or could have been cut entirely. A lot of plot exposition through speeches, taking away from some of the dramatic moments.

Firefly24601

It's ironic that this episode landed on this week. My dad passed away this morning and this makes me wish that death could be reversed

Jonathan Emery

Katrina is pretty good at guessing what is going to happen each episode. John went Super Saiyan, or he trained with Frieza (for Katrina). I know this was filmed in advance but I hope they have a discussion about what she thinks might happen in the finale. Any timetable for when the old episodes might pop up?

Andrew Hogan

I can't wait a week for the big one......

Mike
