Yeah think of the symbolism if he gets his disability healed to signal how he's turned good, that's like something Disney would do. And in general. this show really deserves more credit for how well it deals with disabilities. (Zuko's facial scar is considered a disability even if it may not affect his physical condition (though it probably would) but just because it affects how people react to him, if anybody's wondering.) In all the little details, like previously where Toph flips out when Aang and Sokka sneak up on her mid-jog cause she has no idea there's a ten ton bison flying right next to her before they speak, and they didn't think about that cause she usually knows everything that goes on around her. . .

2024-07-08 12:18:49 +0000 UTCi don't like the idea that zuko would have made a diff decision if katara had healed his face... seems superficial and I would have hated that outcome if he only made the right decision b/c of taking away a scar and not b/c he realized finally that his destiny was something for him to decide.
