The town having their own "special arrangement" makes me wonder...what exactly happens if you litter in Mercy?

Still this episode had its moments. I mean when Drex looked at Amy and recognised that she is a mother, and the way he read the Doctor and saw the guilt and rage in him.

Most of the spaghetti westerns were shot in Spain, The Good The Bad and the Ugly included. And I love the score of this episode, very inspired by the western scores of Ennio Morricone.

Jared Abrahamson

He has? I hadn't heard about that one. I'll have to go find it!

Bekah

I know, right! It breaks a little from their "One Fan, One Newb" schtick, but it would still be kind of cool for them to react to something they are both Newbs at, too! I'd be happy to do the editing for them, too, just so we could get them started! In case you haven't seen, Failwhale has just started Farscape reactions recently, and is loving it, though it's largely been ignored by the reaction community for no discernible reason.

Darren Withers

I would be so happy if you all watched Farscape

Blake

You should look into reacting to Stargate SG1. It sounded like you watched it Kat, and Paula hasn't. I absolutely love that show!

I've been to the place where this is filmed, its a permanent standing set and its been used for TONS of films. You can go and drink in the bar, they put on this flash gunslinger show (entirely in Spanish but still enjoyable) its kinda cool. They do a stunt where they throw someone out of a second story window and after the show you can take turns leaping out too. Very fun trip. Episode wise, not ground breaking but very enjoyable, great acting and a cool story. I think I like this more and more each time I see it.

Daniel Reynolds

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't "The good the bad and the ugly " filmed in Spain as well as several other spaghetti westerns

Colin 3of5

Great reaction. As often happens, this is better than I remember.

Stephen Ray

The only other time DW has done a Western episode was with tbe 1st Doctor in 1965, with a story called The Gunfighters. Set in Tombstone and the OK Corral, it features, as you may guess, Wyat Earp, Doc Holliday and the rest. Great story, but has one of the most annoying earworms of a song as a theme throughout that will stick with you forever, no matter what you do.

Lloyd B

Yesss, I always look forward to watching Doctor Who with you two!
