Two things I noticed about the Borg parody called Beta 7: 1. Beta 7 is a stand-in for the so-called "beta male". You can see that both in the name and in the way he acts. It makes me wonder if the writer of this episode was dumped for a guy he considers a beta. If so, it would mean that the writer probably considers himself an alpha. 2. Did you notice that quick part where Beta 7 pointed at Rick and screamed? That seems to be a reference to Invasion of the Body Snatchers. If a pod person noticed that someone was a regular human and not a fellow pod person, they would point and scream at them.
