Into the Oort
Added 2025-04-07 09:06:09 +0000 UTCI really wanted to do a ghost story, but within a technological framework. And I wanted to set it in the Oort Cloud, because there’s something spooky to me about being so far from home. Apart from that though, I had no idea where it would go, so I hope you enjoy.
Above - I took some thumbnails while drawing one of the panels - the quick animation here is the result.
And here's an early character sketch that didn't make it into the final... I'm not actually sure why - the vibe just felt off.
Meanwhile the script for my long comic is complete, so I plan to start thumb-nailing/storyboarding it shortly. Once I’ve done that, I’m thinking of posting it page by page as I draw it here. Let me know if that’s something you’d like to see!

Thanks Len! I’ve actually just started working on a full length graphic novel! I’m just in the process of figuring out how to make time to get it done, but the script is finished and I’ve started storyboarding the outline. I’m really excited to start drawing it. 😅

2025-04-09 07:15:36 +0000 UTCI particularly love the implications of the ship in this. The ship activating the scan of one of the few people who had more focus on the welfare of the crew than of the bottom line; the doctor's scan working in tandem to rip away the corporate restraints to save whoever is left. I really think this would pair well with the Murderbot Diaries.

2025-04-09 05:07:31 +0000 UTCI am amazed, as always, by your artistic style and story telling. The depth of emotion conveyed in every panel is brilliant - I find myself staring at each page for minutes together. I would love to see a page by page!
