2025-07-06 00:08:48 +0000 UTCIt means a lot to me that Picard means so much to you. The reason Picard is my favorite captain in all of Trek is not an affront to Kirk or the others. He’s just the most fleshed-out, humanized leader. He started out TNG as stalwart and almost unapproachable by his subordinates. Over the seasons, he endured trauma the likes of which Kirk was never subjected to, gained the respect of every arch enemy the Federation has faced, and loved and lost like no other. One more season to go and you can already see how loved he is by everyone serving under him. The man has had quite the character arc…and he deserves happiness. Great video, Alex!
