Not at this time, at least. His roles in “Gotham” and “Game of Thrones” were different though

Siddig is not a bad actor, but he's not able to pull off menacing.

A big mistake Trek is guilty of doing doing multiple first season possession episodes before we get to know the characters. Power Play this is not.

I don’t know whether anyone has mentioned this, but in season 1, Terry Farrell was so intimidated by Avery Brooks’s acting intensity that he agreed to tone himself down in scenes with her, to give her a comparative lift. She was particularly concerned that she was supposed to be this centuries-old father figure for Sisko and wasn’t able to bring that into her performance when the two of them were on screen together. The two of them did not discuss this with the directors and producers before going ahead with it. That’s one reason why Brooks’s performance can seem so inconsistent and flat when he is opposite Farrell.

I imagine the direction was something like
Director: “I need you to disguise your voice so as not to give away the twist and try and sound creepy and alien “
Alexander: “How was that?”
Director: “Good enough. Let’s move on.”
Alexander: “Wait! I can do it better.”
Director: “Naw, it’s good enough. It’s not as though people are going to spend the next three decades tearing this apart and critiquing it.”

I like the concept and the mystery was decent, but Seddig's portrayal of possessed Bashir is just goofy.
