2025-06-10 22:23:00 +0000 UTCThe only real flaw of this episode is since this is 90s tv we have to take the show's word for it these are big political stakes that will shake the alpha quadrant.

2025-06-10 05:49:19 +0000 UTCJust Commenting on Alex's "A Show about Embracing Diversity = Toxic Fandom": so, so true, but also Vocal Minority rules apply. People with no problem with something are less likely to yell about it and stab anyone who disagrees with them. This goes doubly for Whovians. For a show that has survived only because of one core principal, "Embrace Change", it sure has bred some vile-spitting trogledites who complain "This isn't my show anymore!"

2025-06-09 23:47:54 +0000 UTCOne of the better "Troi" episodes. But it doesn't make much sense, and is Meh overall.

2025-06-09 23:07:02 +0000 UTCBroโฆI love when Marina takes the stage at the conventions!! That woman has ZERO filter!! In Las Vegas, I watched her get into a hostile back and forth with Gates McFadden that saw a few F-bombs hurled! Patrick looked like most men would in that situationโฆhead down and eyes to the ground! Frakes had the same huge bemused smile on his face that I had! And after the girls finished fighting, they started hugging again! I suppose Gates is used to the Sirtis Syndrome!! ๐๐

2025-06-09 23:06:28 +0000 UTCOne of my favorites Troi episodes, especially a Trou focus that doesn't feature her mother. She gets challenged but comes off as a competent Star Fleet officer. Sirius does a great job!

2025-06-09 19:39:03 +0000 UTCA solid B-Tier episode. It does amaze me that this was supposed to be a Crusher episode which would have been horrible, because Crusher does not have that 'aristocratic / braty / bitchy' streak Troi does (Examples include every Lwaxana episode along with Man of the People, The Loss)... and anyone who has had the fortune (or misfortune) of seeing Marina Sirtis speak at a Star Trek Convention knows that streak is genuine

2025-06-09 16:37:24 +0000 UTCS for me. Gives much needed colour and depth to the Romulans. Loved the commander.

2025-06-09 16:37:08 +0000 UTCB. It's something different for Troi to do, so that is a plus. Entertaining, but nothing super mindblowing. The dinner scene is excellent though.

2025-06-09 16:03:17 +0000 UTCOf all the "Troi Must Suffer" episodes, this is the best, and a great continuation of her arc from the Captain Troi episode.
