I've been looking forward to this one.

A bit of trivia-- guest star JoAnne Pflug was in the cast of the film version of MASH, along with Rene Auberjonois

I’m just about to watch it with you guys. I loved it when the series was on regular TV. It was really good horror without having to be graphic. Similar to Alfred Hitchcock.

My Favorite Episode of the Series is The Zombie, I think its the best o f the series and it's sharply written by the future creator of the Soprano David Chase who is quite involved in the series

McGavin is such an underappreciated actor, he's been so good in so many things and great here,

Dark Shadows mention! 🎉 I’m working my way through the original 1,225 episode series (on ep 298). Finally got to the color eps… it’s very gothic horror & gets more insane the further along… and I haven’t even gotten to the time travel bits yet. Prior to the 2009 Tim Burton / Johnny Depp remake, there were two films made in the 70’s with the original TV series cast: House of Dark Shadows & Night of Dark Shadows. These movies are compressed retellings of popular elements & storylines from the show, much like the two Peter Cushing Dr. Who films in the 60’s did.

This was great to watch. I hope you continue with the individual episodes.

I grew up (and still live) in eastern Washington State and have been to Seattle multiple times. All of the locations they used were legitimately in Seattle, and the underground city is a real thing. I have been in the tunnels they used in the movie a couple of times! I also have eaten at the restaurant atop the Space Needle - it was super expensive but worth it at the time. The section at the end though? Yeah, none of that part was real, and they did use the Bradbury Building (in L.A.) for it. Great reactiion to a great TV horror movie! I think you guys will enjoy the TV series too. Oh, and as a Dark Shadows fan, I can tell you that Dan Curtis has a definite style when it comes to horror, and the Night Strangler is a great example of that.
