I don't want to label them all B movie actors but they are probably not unfamiliar with B-movie level material. For instance Malcolm McDowell: he's well-known but a lot of the properties he's been often have low imdb scores or are pretty niche and really random. So he's the sort of name you can pull in and viewers will be wowed seeing him and you know you'll get a solid, classically-trained performance from him, but he probably doesn't command very a high wage.

2025-05-17 17:00:22 +0000 UTCI remember recommending the Bill Pullman episode to you guys when you were taking recommendations about these sorts of anthologies and you said you'd already watched the series, which def surprised me. Like you, I thought I was one of like 100 people on earth who had lol Regarding Henry Rollins, I know he's a good public speaker and very animated (besides music he also does spoken word shows) but here he seems kind of wooden, so I think he was just directed to seems a serious and somber as possible. His segments were so brief and minimal, it feels like they were trying to minimize his time to maximize the stories play times and budgets and just book-end them with him to tie them together. Edit: the Night Visions episodes are all up on archive.org too, so at least they're not just at that one single source on YouTube!
