Loved seeing this movie again. Looked up Tyler Labine he's 47 nowadays really dose look like JD Vance. I remember him from a lot of different TV roles. Played a repeating bit part of a character known as Stoner from a number of X-Files episodes. That's actuality my first memory of him. He also appeared in a number of short lived TV series.

I have a big soft spot for this movie. I think I find it to be a little bit funnier than they did, and at the same time I thought the Dale / Ally stuff was sweet (obviously not a deep story there, but sweet nonetheless).

There's something about this movie that's just so earnest and genuine. Really enjoy the themes and lead performances. A lot of laughs too. Really good movie!

Speaking of people who kind of look like J.D. Vance πŸ‘†πŸ½

I've seen a ton of clips of this movie but never watched the whole thing start to finish. Wasn't much I didn't already know, but still pretty entertaining to watch through. Doesn't overstay it's welcome at 90 minutes either. The whole premise is batshit insane but that's the charm of the movie IMO. Great pick.

I saw a great breakdown last week theorising that this is a secret Final Destination movie. It works out.

I just remember this being the first thing I saw Alan Tudik in after Serenity, so I suspect my inner cynic took a vacation when I first watched it. I thought it was great then. Now? It's okay.
