You guys complain when you don't understand what's going on, and then complain when there is even minimal exposition :-D It's TV. Unless you start having narration, you're gonna have to deal with some standard tropes in order to make a story navigable.

If you pay attention (rewatch previous episodes) you catch strong hints of that. The Belt has no government. Miller worked for an Earth Corp (Star Helix) that was contracted to provided security and law enforcement on Ceres. Any significant population center in the Belt falls under either Earth's or Mars' jurisdiction, hence their resentment of the Inners. Also, Ganymede is one of Jupiter's moons, and while it does have a research station there, its primary purpose is as the "breadbasket" of the Outer Planets (i.e., the "Belt" -- the asteroid belt, for which the Belters are named, since their purpose is to mine the asteroid belt for resources to send to the Inner Planets). Ganymede is an agricultural moon, in other words. Critical for the Belt. Noami: Belter Amos: Earther Holden: Earther Alex: Martian Bobbie Draper is called "Gunny" because that's her rank in the Martian Marine Corps: Gunnery Sergeant. "Gunny" is commonly used in our own marine corps to refer to those who hold that rank. The damn bird in season one looked fake because it was. It was mechanical and didn't fly like normal birds because a) it's not, and b) Ceres' gravity is significantly less than on Earth. Fewer flaps required to stay aloft. I'm late in commenting this stuff so I'm sure you've already figured it all out by now, lol

In a previous episode, Bobby had noticed someone inside the dome waving at them right before the attack. It was Prax's daughter.
