2025-03-18 19:57:43 +0000 UTCI wonder if this has been brought up, but Jonathan Dell' Arco, Hugh's actor, had just suffered the loss of his boyfriend (iirc) when auditioning for the part. His very effective, dispassionate, cold acting was a result of what he was going through, similar to the old man in The Survivors who had lost his IRL wife.
