I’m glad Scotty appears in the Cold Open so we get their legit reaction to his appearance, because back in ‘93 when I watched it live it was a great surprise!

2025-03-25 16:10:08 +0000 UTCmy favorite thing is how Scotty reacts to worf, both as how inconceivable for him to see a Klingon in starfleet and even at the end he just stares and cant even pretend niceties, makes sense for the era he lived

2025-03-23 19:17:38 +0000 UTCLove this one. I like a story with some melancholy to it, especially with the hopefulness at the end. Ron Moore's a great writer and has a deep love of Star Trek. He delivers on the character writing and fan service so well.

2025-03-21 06:44:29 +0000 UTCShouldn’t Scotty have had to also specify to the Holodeck pre or post refit for the Bridge? And whether he wanted to see the Robert April, Christopher Pike, or Jim Kirk era decor? 🤔

2025-03-20 21:11:56 +0000 UTCThere isn't much to really say about this one: it's just a stellar, top of the line episode. It does a great job connecting the 80s/90s runs of Start Trek to the original series in a deeply meaningful way that most other attempts don't. My only complaint is the ending, which I think is almost a cop out - but maybe it was intended to leave things open ended.

2025-03-20 01:16:46 +0000 UTCThis episode contains one of my top five Star Trek scenes of the franchise: Scotty drinking whiskey with Picard in the holodeck. It's a fun concept, and seeing the original bridge is awesome. We also see more of Picard's feelings about the Stargazer. Just a fantastic scene between two excellent actors. Plus, it leads to Geordi's redemption and Scotty's finding usefulness again—a pivotal scene.

2025-03-19 14:02:04 +0000 UTCTo be fair to Geordi, who did come down hard on him, Scotty was just randomly touching stuff and opening the dilithium chamber. He feels like he knows things, but he doesn't, and he could've blown up the ship or something trying to do something he doesn't need to do. At the very least, he's a constant distraction, and Geordi doesn't have the time to explain 75 years of advancements. I would've phrased it nicer than Geordi does here, but he has a valid point.

2025-03-19 13:58:15 +0000 UTCScotty!!! “NCC 1701, no bloody A, B, C, or D”. I love that line! At least they knew to surprise us before the credits.

2025-03-18 02:17:57 +0000 UTCI was late to comment on S6E3 before you read it, so I wanted to post here in case you read this and cared to comment on it. I’ve been waiting patiently for years to leave this comment for this episode. While “Man of the People” is not that highly rated (5.7/10 on IMDb or ~ a B or C tier episode), the subject matter of narcissistic abuse is something that is very personal to me. During my childhood and teenage years I had very little choice but to become the emotional receptacle for family members who couldn’t “shoulder the burden of unpleasant emotions.” In ways that are not necessarily visible, it aged me much faster than I should have. And as a result I struggled to shoulder my own unpleasant emotions because I was too busy carrying those of others. I haven’t spoken to those family members for the past 10 years now. Except for one recent visit with someone who became the receptacle in my absence, or took on a more prominent role as such. It was staggering to me how much they had aged in 10 years. Now they are in their 70’s for sure, but I know people older who are much younger both in body, mind, and spirit. Narcissists sap the life energy out of others for their own benefit. If you isolate them and deny them a receptacle, they will be driven mad in short order by their unwanted thoughts and feelings, and all of the negative karma they have piled up over their heads will crash down on them in very short order. What this episode did is to use the plot devices and alien powers to condense a lifetime of abuse into an episode, including the horrors it plays on the body and mind. Yes, the physical transitions are laughably unrealistic, especially Troi’s reversal and how quickly Alkar succumbs, but they have a deeper meaning than just makeup and prosthetics. This will always be a cherished episode for me, simply for watching Picard’s scathing rebuke of Alkar on the planet, and his disgust for how casually Alkar handwaves psychological abuse and projection as justified to perform an ambassadorial role that other greater men can do without abusing others.

2025-03-16 20:52:42 +0000 UTCI really like this one. This was one of the first episodes I remember seeing as a kid but even without that original connection to Scotty it still hit hard. It put me off Geordi for the longest time though!
Elizabeth N
2025-03-16 20:49:13 +0000 UTCAbsolute S tier. Scotty's pain feels real, the interactions are great, and this episode is responsible for popularizing the idea of a Dyson Sphere.
JoeCensored
2025-03-16 08:56:39 +0000 UTCI predict you will both give this an A or B. Even though there is an obvious reason why many people including me will give this S, i suspect the sci fi plot part will knock your grade down

2025-03-15 14:14:58 +0000 UTCI’m torn on the “How long will it really take?” Scene. On the one hand, it kind of diminishes Scotty’s reputation as a miracle worker. On the other hand it’s hilarious.
Matthew McKinnon-Gray
2025-03-15 12:29:03 +0000 UTCThere is no way that their sensors would not detect a full Dyson sphere from A LONG way off. 🤦 "Gravimetric handwaving" hahaha And, up close to "the sphere" there would be no discernible curve to it. Similar to how we can't just look around and see the curve of the Earth (without getting far enough away). The episode is pretty inconsistent about this.

2025-03-15 04:40:17 +0000 UTCYeah, the interpersonal drama just does not work for me in this one.

2025-03-15 04:34:16 +0000 UTCI remember seeing the preview for this one as a kid with my dad and absolutely losing my mind. One of the longest weeks of my childhood. As an adult watching this, it's a great reflection on experience vs advancement and how both are valuable.

2025-03-13 19:00:51 +0000 UTCSCOTTY ON TNG LET'S GO! And a pretty darn good episode IMO, which makes it sweeter than Spock's appearance in season 5 to me. You get some deserved hero worship and nostalgia, then some nice melancholy when he's feeling obsolete and lonely, only to end with an uplifting payoff of him proving that even under these difficult circumstances he can still find a way to help save the day, and he basically gets to 'fly off into the sunset'. This episode also introduced me to the concept of a Dyson Sphere, which I think is a really cool concept. P.S. Being aware of your feelings about Star Trek 6, I'm looking forward to your reaction, in a twisted humor sort of way, to a little bit of Undiscovered Country continuity with regards to how he acts towards Worf LOL I've always liked this one a lot.

2025-03-13 18:32:56 +0000 UTCHere is another case where you guys have a little advantage to us original viewers, if you think being completely surprised by a plot makes for a better experience. We all knew Scotty was coming back in the day, of course.

2025-03-13 15:33:11 +0000 UTCI'm expecting a huge pop here. This episode is great because its just a fun nostalgic ride. SCOTTY IS HERE! Its a wonderful nostalgia trip that is slightly ruined by Geordi. Once again he is irritated and rude for no GOOD reason... dude just needs to go fire up his "diagnostic holo program" and relieve some of that built up frustration that has him in a bad mood all the time and chill out.
Sequiro
2025-03-13 04:26:31 +0000 UTCI don't have much to say about this episode. It's kind of fan-service-y but also depressing. I guess since Bones and Spock made it onto the show they wanted to cycle in another TOS crewmember, but knowing that this accident occurs to Scotty in his retirement connects the dots of his off-screen life in a very different way than we have seen with Bones and Spock, because theirs has been uninterrupted, while Scotty has been cut and pasted 75 years across time. I dunno I just find the whole idea depressing.

2025-03-12 19:24:11 +0000 UTCI'm expecting the mother of all pops for Scotty.

2025-03-12 08:32:29 +0000 UTCI think this is a pretty good one, probably the best of the first round of episodes (which are mostly meh). You think it's going to be fun, it turns out to be surprisingly depressing. LaForge is... surprisingly kindof a dick in the first half of this episode. I understand him being under deadline pressures, but the total nerd inside of Geordi would be tickled pink to understand the incredible wizardry that Scotty had accomplished. Hell, most tech nerds today would be in awe of what people did 70 years ago at the dawn of the transistor age.
Ian Westcott
2025-03-11 22:35:26 +0000 UTCWhat could be better than discovering a Dyson Sphere? Discovering Scotty frozen on a ship on the sphere. A real treat mix of good science, great character acting from James Doohan wrestling with the clash of the old and new eras of Trek, suddenly discovering he is decades out of date. The recreation of the TOS Enterprise bridge is the icing on the cake. Add in some mild jeopardy for today's Enterprise and all the ingredients work well together, making a memorable fun episode that is really up there with the best. An "S" for me.

2025-03-10 19:41:31 +0000 UTCI'd much prefer a feature length, better-fleshed out version of this than ... what we got. (I really don't like the TNG films.)

2025-03-10 11:27:00 +0000 UTCScotty gets more to do than in practically all preceding Trek combined. Geordi’s kind of a dick for some reason. 2025-03-10 05:08:51 +0000 UTCI knew what a Dyson sphere was when I saw this. It immediately grabbed my attention. First proposed by physicist Freeman Dyson in 1960. I saw him speak at the New School in NYC in the early 1970s. Throwing in a special guest seemed unnecessary and contrived. But it's still nice.
Michael Metrick
2025-03-10 02:51:11 +0000 UTCCan't wait to see the look on your faces when you realize its . . . a Dyson Sphere. Coolest think I'd ever seen when I was a kid. Also, I guess the guest star is pretty cool too.

2025-03-10 01:36:09 +0000 UTCI expect a MAJOR pop at the Scotty reveal. Maybe even some rapid blinking when we see the "original" Enterprise bridge. I love the scene with Scotty and Picard toasting their former ships and crewmates. Yes, there are issues, but I don't care. “Best of the Best” for me.

2025-03-09 20:41:05 +0000 UTCThis script deserves to be a full movie.
Bullet Points
2025-03-09 15:49:55 +0000 UTCIf you get the "it's green" callback that's +5 points. I think this was a fun romp with lots of rough spots here and there, but all made up for by a great Picard/Scotty scene on the original bridge.

2025-03-08 23:54:14 +0000 UTCIm waiting for the pop after the classic transporter sound effect. I like this one overall. I mean, it has Scotty a lot, and a Dyson Sphere, the OG Enterprise bridge, but also Geordi was written as too much of an asshole for his character. It also seemed Scotty was reading technobabble off a cue card in the hallway, but that I can forgive. Overall a decent episode that stands out for fan service. Id give it a B

2025-03-08 07:51:40 +0000 UTCFor 30 years I have been torn about this episode. I love Jimmy Doohan’s performance. I love Scotty as a character. I love the concept of the Dyson Sphere. However I cannot stand the way Geordi becomes a complete dick and treats Scotty as a burden. I get it, it’s his engine room, but I just don’t believe Geordi couldn’t take the time to treat Scotty the way we want him to be treated. And I swear to God if they had written Scotty saying “i was doing X before you were born…” one I’m I would have knocked this one down to a C. However, I’ll give it a B for “Beaming for 75 years”

2025-03-08 06:58:49 +0000 UTCYeah, orbitting lots of self contained bits is easy, but effectively staying put is hard - even if the equatorial part is 'orbitting' the poles aren't so that creates unequal strain. But if you have gotten to that point societally, I really don't foresee future engineers having much difficulty designing around that constraint myself.
#MaxwellDidNothingWrong
2025-03-08 06:05:38 +0000 UTCMy headcanon is that Geordi is racist against Scotsmen ever since Lt Cmdr Argyle was the Chief Engineer back in Season 1, always screwing things up while LaForge was still manning the helm.
#MaxwellDidNothingWrong
2025-03-08 05:59:57 +0000 UTCI appreciate Geordi's frustration. But his character has the experience to handle that situation more gracefully. If he can handle Broccoli, he can handle ANYONE.

2025-03-08 05:31:50 +0000 UTCYeah, when Scott told Geordi how long he's been working on starships, Geordi should have used some of his Barclay magic and countered with "Yes, so let me put that knowledge and experience to work" instead of driving him off.
Jovet
2025-03-08 05:29:17 +0000 UTCThis is a complicated episode. We're walloped by profound things: Montgomery Scott, trapped in a transporter buffer for decades, an apparently abandoned Dyson sphere, and an annoyed La Forge who pisses off Scotty. And something green to drink. Which is odd that someone like Data can't identify. Overall, it's a "fun" episode for nostalgia, but nothing really happens. The discovery of a bonafide Dyson sphere is profound, but it doesn't seem to have the effect on the crew I would expect. The mass of such a sphere would dwarf that of the star it surrounds but I guess we can look past that. "B" grade

2025-03-08 03:34:45 +0000 UTCI actually like the fact that this episode is small and self contained. It doesn't have a larger than life plot where the entire universe is about to explode. It's just a small story about a guy who is feeling old and out of date. I think that's what makes it great.
Spencer Loften
2025-03-08 03:32:18 +0000 UTCMine might be an unpopular opinion, but this episode only rises from a C to B for me is due to Scotty, and even then, only a few of his scenes, like on the old Enterprise bridge and with Data on 10-forward. I guess I was just expecting something a bit more. Maybe my expectations were too high given James Doohan's age at the time.

2025-03-08 03:08:28 +0000 UTCWhen I first saw this episode, I didn’t know who Scotty was and this episode didn’t make me care much for him. There’s not much of a story here.

2025-03-08 02:26:28 +0000 UTCI could see Data just people watching. Trying to learn more about human interaction. I've legitimately known people who are probably autistic who do that.
Greg Quinn
2025-03-08 02:22:42 +0000 UTCB - It's a little strange that the Ent.D keeps running into original cast members, and this is perhaps the most hand wavey of them, but suspend disbelief in that coincidence and you've got a fine episode that explores the characters with tempered reverence.
#MaxwellDidNothingWrong
2025-03-08 02:10:18 +0000 UTCI don’t know if I should love this episode for going against the expectations of seeing Scotty in tng, or hate it for ending where we wanted it to after dragging Scotty through the mud. And why is Data a whole creep just sitting in the bar? I always feel disappointed this should have been a 2 parter with Scotty, and having him this felt a little bit wasted? But I still with its problems, I like it meh enough.
Sixto
2025-03-08 01:52:26 +0000 UTC'A' just for Scotty and the nostalgia. Neither the story nor the performances really rise above B level. Not bad but not TNG at its best.

2025-03-08 00:53:25 +0000 UTCI remember when this episode first aired and I heard the sound of the TOS transporter. I kept saying, “No way, NO WAY!” When Scotty appeared, I must have freaked the neighbors with my cheers! And that’s what this episode did best…it gave fans EXACTLY what we wanted! Scotty interacting with Geordi and our Next Generation crew aboard the Enterprise-D…mentioning “The Naked Time”, “Wolf In the Fold” and “Elaan of Troyius” in his remembrances…recreating the original Enterprise on the holodeck!! Hell…ever wonder what Captain Jean-Luc Picard would look like on the bridge of The Original Series Enterprise?? We even got that too!! The fandom loved the return of Spock in Season Five, but always felt a bit hollow with the way it was realized. This episode brought back a legacy character in a grandiose and satisfying way! Add to that an awesome concept like the Dyson’s Sphere and the Enterprise’s exciting Millenium Falcon-like escape maneuver…and we have ourselves an S+ Tier episode!! 🖖
Raphael Gaytan
2025-03-08 00:46:54 +0000 UTCWhy are they portraying Scotty as a 20th century guy who's just been unfrozen? He's going have heard of fake booze and psychologists before. He's met a dozen cyborgs by this point so Data should not be a big deal and from VI you know he was at the Kitomer Conference so peace with the Klingons was already happening before he retired.

2025-03-07 23:19:12 +0000 UTCScotty! Sadly, Jimmy Doohan had trouble with his technobabble heavy lines, and quite obviously used cue cards for several scenes.

2025-03-07 22:28:54 +0000 UTCPerhaps an unpopular take, but although I am glad to see Scotty again, I found this episode pretty boring. I feel like they should have had Scotty in Engineering while they are under attack for some reason.

2025-03-07 21:49:34 +0000 UTCYes I believe it is called a Dyson swarm.
Marko
2025-03-07 21:44:31 +0000 UTCMany documentaries I watched about possible space civilizations, and/or possible future of humanity, implied that a swarm of objects, or rings, around a star could be constructed to collect the energy. And that a sealed hollow structure would not be a viable option, due to overall input of materials versus risks and gains. I suppose there could indeed be a race who was able to develop it. But there is also a premise that a simpler solution is almost always a better one.

2025-03-07 21:06:34 +0000 UTCIt's my understanding that Geodesic spheres (like the Epcot ball) are actually more stable with size so maybe some sort of structural lattice within the framework?

2025-03-07 21:03:10 +0000 UTCThe actual physicist Dyson (not the guy who invented that vacuum) said he really loved this episode but also said they got it completely wrong about how he pictured a Dyson Sphere.

2025-03-07 20:10:21 +0000 UTCWell you guys better love this. My only complaint is....Scotty doesn't actually have dementia...he should be aware that he's being annoying when there are things going on. And Geordi, I can understand him being like "we need to get work done" but he is over the top a dick especially to one of the most famous engineers of all time. A few minor points....I like how Scotty is still weary of Worf. They cut out a scene of Deanna talking to Scotty about finding out what happened to other crew and that's unfortunate. Finally, this is more for everyone else here. If you are concerned about Scotty forgetting some things...just remember he had a tiny bit of signal degradation in that transporter. So some things probably got wiped out of his memory.

2025-03-07 20:07:53 +0000 UTCThis was the first ep of TNG I watched in 30 yrs. Seeing him sitting there on an empty bridge is sad. He was a little exasperating, but his heart was in the right place and I'm glad they gave him the chance to save everyone. One of the best episodes.

2025-03-07 19:41:45 +0000 UTCI low key love this episode and preduct a huge pop for Scotty. The idea of a Dyson Sphere is an intriguing concept and not quite what is pictured here, but it's neat and I wish they'd run with it a bit more. Easy top half of the season for me with this one.

2025-03-07 19:33:22 +0000 UTCThis episode is actually where I learned to give an overestimation of the time it would take me to do the job. Nowadays I am a graphic designer and and I've been applying it to my job. Less stressful and I am being called a miracle worker as well, lol. One of my personal favorites. I don't really have any nitpicks, other than I wished they would have shown more of the inside of the sphere. Oh yeah, and the shields were up so how they beamed them out of the Jenolan? But I don't really care. One other note is that Dyson actually envisioned it not as a solid sphere, but rather as many separated parts in orbit around a star - also called a Dyson swarm. And that constructing a full sphere would make it structurally unstable. But maybe the show wanted to depict a race that overcame even that challenge.

2025-03-07 17:59:04 +0000 UTCSurprise, laddies! It's not a stand out narrative, but it's such a treat to see Scotty again. There's a few callbacks, and while our characters may not have reverence for Scotty, the show clearly does for him and TOS. You'll love that return to the TOS bridge, recreated in all it's 60s glory and not updated for the times, cementing that look as this world's past. For me, always an enjoyable watch. 2025-03-07 17:31:25 +0000 UTCSuch a great episode! Fun fact, the opening wide shot of the TOS Bridge was from a frame of "This Side of Paradise" before Kirk gets blasted with the spore plant hidden in front of the the helm console. The rest of the scene was filmed on a replica set that a fan had built for a convention and the TNG production rented. But the replica set was only of one quarter of the whole thing so there is a lot of fudging it with camera angles and editing.
Alexander McKechnie
2025-03-07 17:21:14 +0000 UTCImo probably one of the best episodes of the series! Love how they recreated the TOS bridge set almost exactly.

2025-03-07 15:21:27 +0000 UTCEncountering a genuine Dyson Sphere is arguable the most significant discovery made in any Star Trek episode ever, and it's relegated to an almost insignificant B plot :P

2025-03-07 15:14:40 +0000 UTCScotty put to better use than in the movies, where he’s borderline comic relief by the end. Seeing the original bridge was stunning back when this aired. And on top of it all the Dyson Sphere is the rare hard-sci-fi idea in TNG that resonated with me. Easy S.

2025-03-07 15:12:26 +0000 UTCCongratulations, Alex. You wished to see this happen when you watched Reunification. The way you can predict things is truly amazing. Got some nice fanservice in this too, like when Data says it is green when referring to the Aldeberan whisky he serves to Scotty. 2025-03-07 15:01:01 +0000 UTCSCOTTY MAKES AN APPEARANCE IN THE 6TH SEASON!!! Thank goodness. We've been holding on to that secret for quite some time. Season 6, just a few more TNG secrets to hold on to.

2025-03-07 14:57:20 +0000 UTCI'm probably one of the apologetic people to Geordi in this episode. On the one hand, he was kind of an ass, but on the other he has a job to do. Both he and Picard offered to set him up with materials to get him acquainted with modern tech but he just wanted to jump right in and work on systems he wasn't familiar with. Geordi could definitely have handled it better though.

2025-03-07 14:46:48 +0000 UTCI remember losing my absolute shit when this first aired. I thought the reveal of the Dyson Sphere was so cool and my head was spinning, and then Montgomery Fucking Scott shows up - ARE YOU KIDDING ME

2025-03-07 14:38:37 +0000 UTCthankfully it's before the credits

2025-03-07 14:32:35 +0000 UTCThere are a few episodes throughout Trek that tackle the topic of people feeling useless/pushed aside because of their age, and while there is one in that category better than this episode, Relics is still an absolute classic. After all, it's fuckin Montgomery Scott.

2025-03-07 14:32:04 +0000 UTCIt’s awesome, James Doohan is a great guest and I hope that the guys aren’t spoiled before the reveal.

2025-03-07 14:01:46 +0000 UTCNo bloody A, B, C, or D. Scotty's love for his Enterprise is beautiful. The ending scene where Scotty tells Geordi the Enterprise is in good hands was a chefs kiss of passing the torch. S grade because it is green 😉😁

2025-03-07 14:00:59 +0000 UTCThis ticks a lot of fan service boxes…. It is green! Call back to drunk Scotty in TOS The no bloody A B C or D is one of the all time favourite lines for fans. But most importantly of all I feel this is a good story of how a man out of time starts to feel outdated and useless as technology moves forward in life, something I related to for my dad in the latter years of his life, he was Scotty and I was Geordi being irritated how he “didn’t get it” just a personal parallel I can relate to

2025-03-07 13:57:09 +0000 UTCThis episode is warm hug. It is pure unapologetic and comforting fan service, but it is done well. I can't help but get a little emotional when Scotty raises his glass to his old shipmates. If I have one criticism it is the initial conflict between Geordie and Scotty. I don't think that Geordie would be like that, but it is redeemed pretty well. I will often pick this episode if I just want a quick fix of comforting TNG.

2025-03-07 13:50:12 +0000 UTCDid you think they were going to kill off Scotty at the end of the episode? It felt like they were building towards a self-sacrifice but I’m glad that it didn’t happen.

2025-03-07 13:41:23 +0000 UTCI love seeing Scotty again. And it has one of my favorite science fiction concepts - a Dyson sphere. But there is no plot. And the ending couldn’t be any weaker

2025-03-07 13:40:19 +0000 UTCI absolutely love this episode. This is a crossover done to 'chef's kiss'. This tells its own story beyond the, "Hey look! Here's Scotty," that works even better because it happens to be about Scotty. James Doohan delivers every. single. line. like it could be the last line in the episode in the best possible way... Also an epic nerd fantasy of Geordi and Scotty having scenes together and exchanging trade-secrets on Engineering Miracle Worker tactics. Too much to go into on a simple comment! Rated A to S for me.

2025-03-07 13:39:03 +0000 UTCThis one forever warms my heart - S for Scotty, and for 'So Many Subtle Callbacks'... - The TOS transporter effect and sound on the Jenolan - The miracle worker x4 repair time estimate mentioned to Geordi from ST3 - "It is green" is the same drink Scotty used to get that Kelvan plastered in "By Any Other Name", which he shares with Picard here - References to "Naked Time", Argelius from "Wolf in the Fold", Dohlman of Elass from "Elaan of Troyius" - Pulling the Enterprise out of mothballs referencing the A's fate in ST6 What are your thoughts on self/cross continuity within Star Trek - would you want to see more, or is there a "too much" point for you? And do you think we'll see any more TOS characters or settings again in future?

2025-03-07 13:30:22 +0000 UTCAlso a nice call back to the TOS episode with "It is Green"

2025-03-07 13:28:38 +0000 UTCA S Episode, and you called in during Unification pt2, an Episode with Scotty and Geordi. Great to see James Doohan back, and his pathos and feeling useless is so heartbreaking as we've seen him save the day so many times in the past. Kinda feels like a bit of a companion episode to Sarek, in similar story, but still, fan service done well. Also, apparently the writer who go this Episode saw the outline, walk over to Ron Moore and swapped it with him, knowing he'd do a better job as a real TOS fan.

2025-03-07 13:28:11 +0000 UTCThe better of two TOS crossovers for me, it’s a nice character focussed ep about Scotty and a man out of time, kinda wish it had been expanded into a full hour. The holodeck stuff and the scenes with Scotty and Picard are extremely well done.
Darren Seal
2025-03-07 13:26:56 +0000 UTCThis is my favourite TOS tie-in episode. Having it be a contained single episode instead of Unification makes it feel stylistically more like TOS. Scotty's drunken memorial to his lost friends on the classic bridge is a top series moment for me. "Here's to ya, lads."

2025-03-07 13:23:10 +0000 UTC"S" for Scotty -- listen to the dialogue in the final scene as Geordi walks Scotty to the shuttle bay --- they are talking about the events of the episode "Galaxy's Child"

2025-03-07 13:22:57 +0000 UTCI always thought it was weird that Troi gives him a nice goodbye at the end despite not much interaction. Welp, turns out there was an entire counseling scene cut for time that took place in between when the ensign brings him to his room and when he goes to Ten Forward. Worth checking out on YouTube. As for my score? No bloody A, B, C, OR D... S for Scotty
THE LORE!!!
2025-03-07 13:12:00 +0000 UTCDefinitely an S as in Scotty! This is an example of what would happen if two great engineers were to meet!!

2025-03-07 13:11:34 +0000 UTCThis is gonna be an "S" episode
