Now it’s switched to “hard BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front) and take it as you will”. “The Tribe” Qrow and Raven refer to is a bandit group. And Shion village is the one the gang came across in Ch 2 with the inhabitants slaughtered. As for the mask, since the Grimm are the monsters of this world I’m sure many a group looking to inspire fear uses that visage.
