The writers really knew what they were doing in this Volume. Everyone had to adjust and reaquire their purpose. And it mirrors what was happening at RT since they were still dealing with the loss of Monty Oum. Move Onward, Not There Yet.

Right now Beacon is only accepting Grimm. 😂 Other signs that Jacque is a self-important weasel include his desk sitting on an elevated portion of the room, and of course no chairs in front of the desk forcing those to stand. Also of note is the only picture of family members on his desk is Whitley. “Can you believe there are still people in this world that blame Atlas for what happened to Beacon? To Vale?” Jacque is fuming at the fact that most everyone not at the Vytl Festival places some blame and suspicion on Atlas. Of course that being a secondary objective of Cinder’s plan. Once her virus took control of the CCCT, she had sole control of information coming out of Vale. And then had it scramble the system as they retreated. So to many in Remnant will view them with the same trust you’d show a Beowulf delivering your pizza.

2025-10-17 15:52:07 +0000 UTCdidn't see anyone answer your question about the lineage of the SDC, the answer is unfortunately simple; Jacque despises Ironwood, and Winter is an enlisted servicemember, she joined the military and in doing so Jacque cut her off from the family fortune and her birthright, passing it on to Weiss who he kept very close to his side for a long time, hence how she was when we met her, she was sheltered, and as such was parroting much of her father's opinion of the world, now that she's seen what's out there, she's had an opportunity to grow, and I love her all the more for it!
