As an autistic girl, I absolutely love how this episode was clearly neurodivergent-coded. The way BOYD acts is so well written to be autistic, and the line "He's a kid like me, just wired a bit different" I CAN'T π That's the line so many people use when talking about autistic people.

2025-06-27 14:58:33 +0000 UTCAww, the young Gyro in the photo is his design from the comics, that's cute! And also the "so idealistic..." part - so this Gyro is disillusioned and bitter, but didn't use to be a jerk... Makes sense, since that is NOT what he's like in the comics lol. He IS a very kind guy in those!
