2025-10-10 12:14:17 +0000 UTCI almost spit out my food when you said "duct tape." xD Fun fact, Ren, with the pink streak in his hair there, is voiced by the show's creator, Monty Oum, in volumes 1 and 2. And speaking of in the booth trivia, Lindsay, the voice of Ruby, actually had her mouth full of cookies, iirc, for the "That's my uncle" line in episode 1. More fun trivia, in the landing strategy sequence, "Birdie, no!" and "Nailed it," were adlibs. ^_^ I love how sharp and perceptive you and Elijah are. You see a lot of things coming, like Weiss and Ruby pairing up. Every episode at some point I'll laugh and say, "Could you stop being psychic for like 5 minutes!?" or "She's a witch!" xD I remember in the cast commentaries, Arryn Zech, Blake's voice actress, was talking about how, as they were working on the show week to week, one of the things on their to do list was, "We gotta flesh out Blake's character more," because when she asked what Blake was like, all they kinda had for a while was, "She likes books." Or something like that (it's been a long time). Two fun facts about the voice actors in this show: many of them weren't professional voice actors, and many of them were part of the crew. Jaune for instance is voiced by Miles Luna, one of the head writers. I remember also in the commentaries, they were talking about the "Boop" moment. Miles and Kerry were brainstorming, and Miles was lying on the floor, raised up a hand and was like, "Hey, would it too dumb if..." They said a lot of the ideas in the show started with sentences like that. xD
