I don't know. Captain Picard vaulting over the rail to take a station he probably hasn't worked in many years to continue fighting his ship was pretty good to me. Then suddenly back in front of his chair as everything goes back to normal.

I always assumed that in the Klingon War timeline Starfleet was readying a last-ditch plan to send a Galaxy Class ship back through time to provide advanced weaponry to an earlier version of the Federation. In Picard's time Starfleet is aware that Kirk's crew managed to deliberately time travel back to the past successfully on two different occasions, once even while using a crappy Klingon Bird of Prey, so it could definitely be done. And "protecting the timeline" kind of goes out the window when you're about to be forced to surrender to the Klingons. Imagine a galaxy class ship being sent back a century in time...after the Federation upgraded all their ships the Klingons -- and the Romulans, and damn near everyone else -- would never be a problem again.

0:41 Alex should have spit out the Fireball and exclaimed, "What is this?? Synthahol???"

Ending was perfect. Only cool thing would be Worf on the Klingon ship telling the Enterprise to surrender.

It’s like we’ve been cresting the top of the first hill of the roller coaster this season, slowly gaining momentum, and then this episode is the first time we really FEEL the drop!

So about that Star Wars timeline where Book of Boba Fett was actually good... who did we send back in time to assassinate Kathleen Kennedy again?

No spoilers, but that whole "it was for nothing if they just hit the reset button at the end" will make more sense. This episode primes the audience for something coming.

Holy crap, that's V'Ger level special effects. How'd you do that without The Acolytes $20 billion budget. 🤔

All you need to do is invent time travel, go back to 1989, get hired as a writer and make your case. 😜😂

Change the ending? You guys are nuts. It was perfect. The whole point of the quick cut back to “normal” was to show that our crew has no idea what just happened.
