...has there ever been a love triangle involving three women? I can't think of any in any show I have ever watched.
Even Batwoman, where basically every single woman who graced the screen was queer, somehow managed not to have a love triangle involving three women*.
* Depending on your definition of love triangle; something in season two might count?

So the voice actor for Kit is Woosung, a Korean-American singer. He's got an amazing voice. His band is called The Rose, you should check them out!

Glad you’re enjoying it Mosco, despite its horror themes and typical “teen love triangle”. Plus the intro is just so cool. 🤩💜

Ah the first day at a new school. Making new friends. Finding a new crush. Getting chased by demons. Almost burning the place down. Good times!
You've met Stella. The first friend! Lovely individual.
But Mosco! The love triangle is *important*! Firey powers, supernatural foes, the mystery behind all of it, blah blah blah... EVERYONE knows that a true female protagonist is defined by which fella she'd rather smooch!
...
I'm kidding by the way. Hard joking. Just typing that made my skin crawl.
Besides, love triangles are blasé. Where's the love rhombus? The rectangle of friendship? And the rarely utilized it's eroti-complicated dodecahedron? Gotta time travel and hop realities for that one.
I don't know much on Chinese folklore outside of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, but The Yellow Emperor is a big name in their mythology. This show doesn't go much into the specifics, but to compare with other folklore pantheons, he's a Zeus or King Arthur in their culture. I wouldn't have gone digging were it not for Midori on your server.
Looking at all the things that have jumpscared you and creeped you out so far... I'll grant, the Aoyin is terrifying but... oh you sweet summer child... you are in for it.

I SOOOOOOO want to see Mosco react to a horror movie lmao. Like Robert Egger's Nosferatu.

I adore Jentry Chau and say it's a 9/10. With the least amount of spoilers possible, I will say the love triangle is what causes that 1 dock, but the plot and characters are so freaking good that it keeps it a solid 9. I also don't hate the love triangle. Just some issues with it, but not going to go depth with it yet. I agree with what you said about Wednesday. Now that love triangle was god awful. Wednesday had way better chemistry with Enid than any of the boys. If you want a show with a bisexual love triangle where the main girl has one with male and female characters, I suggest checking out XO Kitty. Season 2 made some questionable choices, but season 1 was so good.

I think the pacing was a bit better in this one, imo. I've had the theme song stuck in my head for a hot minute too lol

Didn't Legend of Korra have a girl/girl/guy love triangle?

The Buffy comparison is apt but my mind also goes more directly to The Life and Times of Juniper Lee (which was, itself, pretty directly inspired by Buffy)

I really hate love triangles, especially high school love triangles. However, this show does it well and the motivations are well written

I'm hoping it's more of a love quadrangle myself. I genuinely can't tell which of the two male love interests is more bland from this episode...

I had the same reaction to the love triangle, rolled my eyes so hard I thought I would see my brain
but honestly they did an okay job with it and it didn't bothered me in the end ^^

Already two... interlocking triangles? Yeah, as well as the 90s/00s US high school shows in general, I get the feeling that it's fairly consciously doing "Buffy, but Chinese demons" at times.

The intro of Kit!!! As a Kit myself, who also has a deep love for winged characters, I cannot tell you how excited I was to learn that the guy with wings in the intro shared my name.

I give Jentry a pass on the love triangle stuff because the show is very heavily drawing on a specific genre of 90s/00s television, and that includes how it handles its romances.
