I've some important news.

Wonderlamp is finished (almost)

First of all, Wonderlamp is finally nearly finished... and this time for real!
Just three (or maybe five) more pages plus the credit page and I'm done.

Today I finished page 438. This means Wonderlamp will stay under 450 pages. I never thought Wonderlamp would take so long. But I'm pretty happy with this project. I think Wonderlamp is quite unique in terms of details. We have a very detailed transformation and dealing with the live after the transformation in a way which was never shown before in a TG comic. But will I do ever again a comic like Wonderlamp? Propably not. I'm more intrested in the transformation itself than in the live after. While I think, it was good that Wonderlamp takes so much care with the life of Mark after his fateful meeting with the Djinni, future projects will go more in the direction of the Toilet From Hell.

Future of Patreon

I've been thinking about this for a few months and recently made the final decision, which I will now share with you. In Feburary you will see the final pages of Wonderlamp (together with a nice event, similar as in December) and then I'll shutdown my Patreon in the way you know it.
No panic! I don't plan to stop doing TG comics, but there are some good reasons for me to stop my Patreon.

I'm burned out. I have a fulltime job and I'm spending a lot of my freetime in doing this comic. My Netflix and gaming backlog is getting longer and longer... because of this ;)
My plan was to have at least 3 to 6 months content in my backlog, because I want to give you a constant pipline of content. Well, this didn't worked out well in the end, after whenever I increased my production speed (faster computer, more expierence...) I also increaded the qualilty and complexity of my images, which negated the faster production time.
I want to improve image qualitly further and move from DAZ Studio to Blender, which will slow me down a lot. At the moment I have hardly the time to dive into Blender, as I want.

Well, okay it's not true. I will not close my Patreon. I will convert to a tip jar. This means, if you want to support me further, you can do. But there will be no more new content starting on March 2022. New content will be published on TGComics.

Talking about supporting me, I'm really grateful for all your support. While earning money with my comics was never my main goal, I think I reached the break even in November or December. Which means I have all my invested money back (DAZ Assets, Computer Hardware and Software). It's kind of silly of me that I shutting down my Patreon, after I would now start to earn money with it... But it is, how it is.

I'm also telling you this, because I'm playing fair. I know that some of you may have bad expierence with some creators which stopped from one day to an other and still charged the Patreon fee for months over months from their loyal subscribers. I want to do better and so it's your decision if you want to support me without a reward in the future.

Future plans

I've some ideas of what I want to do in the future (besides of Netflix and playing some computer games).

Doing more TG comics (I've so many ideas and stories which want to be told...)
Improving my Blender knowledge doing some new story panels as learn projects
Sell self made assets in the DAZ store (which could maybe go hand in hand with doing comics, after I could just sell some of the assets I would create for these comics)
Doing a TG computer game (funfact, originally I wanted to do a game, but than I started with comics as training may graphic skill... you know how it ended. I think the computer game scenario is prettly unlikley, after I will not have the time for doing a game AND comic...)
