Corporate Development Memo 1/26/25

Hello everyone!

I am just posting a quick update while kind of recharging from this release.

First, I will be posting an Android release in the Final B Release post on this page that currently has the Window/Mac links.  I will edit it within 20 minutes after I finish this post as I am currently uploading it to a link. So go to that post (I will try and change the title to say edited w/Android too) for it. I want to fully disclaim that I can't test it personally because I have iPhones and not Androids. So if anyone is having trouble with playing it with either saves, or just not loading, please let me know!

I want to thank Wills for his help on doing this Android version. I will also in the middle of the week edit the "pinned" post to update with Episodes 1-7 and the walkthroughs, and the most updated 8.2 links for one post. That way, brand new people can easily download both 1-7 and 8.2 to hit the ground running.

I am taking a short trip this week to recharge entirely and I already feel a LOT better and may even do some outlining/writing during a lazy hour or so while relaxing. I may do a little on an 8.2 walkthrough and I will formally attempt to start Part 3 on Feb 3 (the Monday starting next week), and I expect a 2000 render update this time. So expect a much faster release window. Another reason I am doing this is I am going to time a Steam release pretty close to this update coming out -- if all goes well. Part 3 itself is not only 2000 renders (I have a rough idea and it's pretty long) but I really did have a hard time managing what turned out to be a 5000 render update! Very long term, Episodes 1-7 are likely to end up at Act/Season One (roughly 13500 renders), Episodes 8.1 to 8.3 Act/Season Two (roughly 13500 renders), and then we'll see for Act/Season Three. I believe honestly though that the "endings" may have to be their own update because it's really extensive with a combination of slides/scenes in my head but that's not quite something to worry about yet.

I'll speak more on the walkthrough if I start it -- I am considering adding a little bit about factions (very important after Part 3 is done) but I'm not sure if people want that much detail ahead of time? Maybe I can make it a separate document? Maybe people can give some feedback on that -- just thinking out loud right now. 

I appreciate again the kind words and feedback -- everything! Hearing this kind of stuff was actually a big factor for me wanting to grind on...it really was.

I'll be getting my final recharge time in this week and spending a little time on a short trip with my fiance but I should be online a fair amount more this week. (I was mostly avoiding being online the past 5-6 days)

I like the walk-through to be indepth as I usuallybrefer to it after my first runs to see what I missed. A faction document would be useful but I'd prefer as a separate item, similar to the character map.

Thanks for the update; glad to see you're feeling better. I look forward to reading about the factions and such (separate release from walkthrough is fine) because I enjoy understanding the method behind the madness. Instead of just "click here then there" it's "here's why we're doing this." I'm following you for the story, not just the renders, and I look forward to the next release. (Did I mention I like the story?) ;)

Your game is phenomenal. Take all the time you need to recharge. Those of us who aren't a-holes think you should do whatever you need to keep yourself happy. As far as factions go, I like any extra info you provide
