Corporate Development Memo (7/1/2024)

Hi everyone!

As I said on the sub poll post, I thought I might post Monday instead of Sunday given how much I had to do yesterday!

I decided to give a few extra previews this week just to kind of make up for being a little late from my normal post. I still haven't decided whether to move to Saturday/Monday for weekly posts so might stick with Sunday for now.

I am at 1520 renders now.  I have crossed another milestone for me (I tend to think of 500 render chunks as milestones) and feel like I will start speeding up a bit after doing the two poll sets (sub and dom). I was not shocked at the sub poll results at all, and I appreciate everying voting :)

So the first preview image is a scene I am starting...and this has actually tested my new 4090. I had a test with 10 people and all of these assets and lights (fire/lamps) and the render hit almost 24 GB VRAM (that is the max limit for the RTX 4090) so I am already getting a feel of what I can do in terms of reasonable memory limits. This first preview image is from the sub path although Kane has not yet come in the room. (You can however see Jake and Zach there in the cage a bit)

The other shots are mixed from different scenes with options I think for a couple of them.

I have also wrapped up my long-term narrative changes and I'm actually happier than before about what is coming down the road. This is a very difficult narrative in terms of branching so I have to try and maintain some divergence while at the same time allowing reasonable limits in possibilities so things can still flow smoothly.

Ok, I am pretty slammed still from some things yesterday so going to keep at it today, thanks all!

I don't entirely agree with this conclusion looking at specific individual votes by Patron (I can see how each person voted precisely and more individuals voted for certain scenarios more than overall votes meaning that many of the say 62 votes for 1 are repeat votes for the same scenario by less people overall than say 6 which had many more individuals voting for the scenario but less repeat votes by far than 1 overall by Patron count) So for example one scenario could have only 29 total voters but way more repeat votes versus another with 41 votes but less repeat votes but still less overall "votes" (60 vs 62). But the most individuals overall voted for 3 by a decent margin so in this sense it kind of worked out. (less repeat votes) From my own data analysis, 1 was actually a very weak vote overall in terms of individual votes which surprised me a little. I think from the statistical data it is likely that Scenario 1 in particular would have had much lower overall votes if there were only two options based on the high percentage of repeat votes (same people voting for 2 or more in the same scenario) so I kind of think Scenario 1 would have fared much worse overall with just one option versus three because less total people voted on it as an option at all. Not to geek out on statistics but this is an area I know very well from my own academic background. You have to account for the percentage of repeat votes within the total votes and it's much different between 1, 3, and 6 especially for whatever reason. I kind of think 3 would have just had more overall votes if there was a third scenario (more repeat votes just adding an extra vote from the same person) But these are just educated guesses based on the individual voting data I see. But, I am still looking at this past poll as a test as I never did this style before and will keep considering new ideas. I was actually trying to see if certain kinks within the same scenario seemed to have more strength and I got a partial answer to an extent.

Not sure if you saw my message on the sub poll. Thought I'd mention it here. I think it's a fair criticism of whether people's opinions were well represented in the poll. "We need to have at least two iterations for these polls with the the top choices as options in a second round. These are way too many options and people's opinions are getting diluted. I can prove it very plainly: Scenario 1 (Total votes): 62 Scenario 3 (Total votes): 60 Scenario 6 (Total votes): 60 The only reason 3a won was because there were only two versions of Scenario 3 (less diluted), versus three versions of Scenario 1 and four versions of Scenario 6 (more diluted)." A classic Sanders/Warren split vs. Biden. Sorry I have election on the brain.

Oh god, Mistress Tess, you are so great! Angelica is just overpowering with her beautiful high heels. She is mouth-watering! I hope she let me lick and suck on her heel there?

The flower high heel is a very nice detail.

Well done! :)
