Corporate Development Memo (7/10/2022)

Hi all!

Just the weekly update, and I am including a few non-spoilery scene images!  It's hard in the very beginning to include some images because I feel they spoil things too much, so trying to pick some easier scenes that are more ancillary versus critical.    

I am leaving on my trip this week, and as I said before, I might have a little sporadic time with specifically Sundays being a precise update day.  If I feel like I am going to be "off the grid" that Sunday, I will try and write something before and update accordingly.  So it might be a weird period of a little inconsistency with the development memo.  

I have plans to write quite a bit during this time, especially during even the plane flights as each direction I will be traveling literally halfway across the world.  So I have a lot of "dead time" to write and I rarely ever have uninterrupted time like this...so I hope to write a lot!

I've laid out instructions to Anais with some help just in case, but I am going to focus on writing this trip, so expect a lot of writing for July, and then a lot of August will be rendering to catch up with everything.  I am already going to cross 10k tomorrow I think for words, and I hope to write quite a bit in the next two weeks.

Interesting group!  I will do some with just 3 women (so no Patricia) but some with all four to give some variety here too.

As I said, this is a test idea/poll so not sure how this will go, but trying to serve all Patrons as best as I can...remember this set will be shorter but if it goes well, I'll consider more ideas on it, etc.  It's new so just testing this time.

I will be having Anais help prepare some of these sets while I am gone and will work with her when I get back.  These are of course a lot of work, but I genuinely enjoy them!  I will be honest and say that I think overall all of this stuff delays a release by 3-4 weeks down the road, but I like it because I think I work better/more creatively overall giving better updates, so I hope everyone can see my point of view.  :)

0.7 Progress: 191 renders, 9,800 words

As I said above, I don't expect huge progress on renders over the next two weeks as I am not going to have Daz personally available to me (only taking laptop/tablets not main PC) while I am gone.  But, I may assign some work out so we shall see.   I have written for example a scene with Elena and Kane in the limo (big scene) and I may assign that specific scene out to Anais to try but not super comfortable either because I consider it a "critical" scene and I tend to want to do everything on them.  I do intend to write a lot and feel like I can do it without as many distractions that are part of my day to day life normally!  August will be a huge render month I hope.  (I am shooting for a big number)    

For August what to expect: Some polls on new characters (especially assistants/Pod W2) and also some thoughts on how I should release 0.7.  Basically, 2k renders/50-60k words versus bigger like 0.6/3500 renders/100k words.  If I know this early on, I can strategize how to work on the update efficiently with making it as great as possible.  

I also apologize if I'm not super great at responding during my trip -- but I sincerely appreciate everything!  I just want to try and be transparent/honest about everything happening so you always feel like you understand what's going on with the game!  So don't worry if a Sunday post doesn't appear as normally scheduled on July 17th or July 24th -- it's likely just trip related.  But rest assured I will be still working on the game because writing to be honest is SUPER fun and relaxing for me when winding down on a nice day exploring, etc.
