PSA and Tier Changes/0.6 Update

Hello all,

I have told my Patrons this a little, but I am making some changes to my very high tiers due to numerous issues.   These problems had me contemplating shutting down the game entirely last week after a specific incident (#1 below), but after sitting with Anais, she got me kind of feeling fine about everything again.  I am working with the site(s) and legal entities impacted by things I have considered serious.  I will always protect privacy -- even from negative actors (except as it pertains to proper channels if serious things are occurring) but in a nutshell here are five bad examples as to why I am changing things up, in order from worst to fifth worst.

1) A "high tier" directly threatened my assistant Anais more than once in very specific ways if she did not doxx me to him.  This is the incident that almost made me stop the game because it's one thing to bother me, but harassing my friend is so much worse. 

2) I was personally threatened in a similar manner.  Required intervention with serious urgency like #1.  

3) Another person sent me over 100 images of his body (you can figure out the rest) and kept spamming me (multiple accounts), etc.  Ignoring/blocked now. 

4) Another quit Patron because he felt I wasn't giving enough attention (totally valid reason to quit) but it escalated to him threatening to kill himself.  Ignoring/blocked now.

5) Last, another person sent a long winded letter trashing me as a person, then claimed he was "hacked" and that it wasn't him...even though the writing was so obviously from the same person.  Ignoring/blocked now.

Of course, I get a decent amount of thirsty harassment of the more "normal" sort on mostly Discord, but that's totally easy to deflect.  And I'm certainly used to being outside in real life and getting hit on a lot, etc.  I think most if not almost all women deal with this in day to day life.

But, this kind of drama makes the game unenjoyable and absolutely impacted me last month in a negative way.  But, I want to stress that the four high tiers I really talk to now and are close to are GREAT.  Those four should NOT feel bad in any way.

So the highest tiers will now have a specific set of questions I will send out to anyone trying to join that tier.  I may or may not approve within one week, and if not approved, I will refund that person.  I will also not guarantee a certain level of interaction for the first month as a probation period...to see how things go.  Please do NOT sign up for these tiers without understanding this, and I will try and do my best to be communicative about it, especially if someone signs up.

I will say the four I get along with best I think have a few things in common: 1) highly educated, 2) healthy ability to separate real life from fantasy, and 3) they actually have a good sense of confidence in themselves as people, and are not sensitive or triggered by little things.

I am also disclosing a rare personal detail (to discourage sus/thirsty people) -- I am dating a great guy.  No high tier can impress me with their financial status/income: KG is not a high % of my (I do this game for enjoyment, not money) total income, and the guy I am dating makes about 4x what I do, and I also do really well on my own.  I also run my own business built from the ground up and have five solid income streams from my activities.  I absolutely WILL do fun stuff for entertainment exploring awesome ideas/fantasies, but I am NOT going to romance/fall for/doxx myself/love you or anything serious on that level.  

A healthy separation of fantasy from reality is the rule to remember.

Sorry for this long rant/post, but I just feel the need to be clear so people don't sign up for a tier with unrealistic expectations.  I have been forced to go from very open and friendly to being more guarded.  Just have to, so sorry for genuinely nice people, etc.  I am getting some financial hit from this for sure as high tiers definitely have propped the numbers, but it's so worth it to just have the peace and enjoyment to work on the game and have fun again.

I am getting into a better groove this month for 0.6, and the script is very far along, and I have been spending a little time learning a few coding/render tricks from a gigantic game dev that wants to be anonymous so he doesn't get bothered by anyone else, but THANK YOU.  (these tips may apply to 0.7 more as I try things)  This is relating to trying to move the camera dramatically during images in certain ways, and I am also learning some  animation (although I think right now the cost benefit is not worth it for animation versus just doing images/writing).  I posted a one second example on Discord, but that render set completed (longer animation) I may just throw in Sunday for fun just as an added preview.  (not for game, just for fun!)

So just thank you to everyone else and appreciate the patience in letting me sort this out and even post this here today.

0.6 will have Olivia taking more direct control of Pod 4 - as Delilah/Scarlett from 0.5 will back off a little to their Boss.  So a lot of scenes I think in this update will be fun.  I had pondered throwing out a mini-spoiler for 0.6 as a thank you for the nice year, but it seems the Patrons are not too keen on this...so dropping idea for now.  (It would have been the first five minutes of the 0.6)

There are also more of The DeKock Syndicate coming into The Joy Facility, and some key disclosures (0.5 was a big one with the Veronica meeting on the Gambit) are coming as well.

Anyway, thank you all so much.  Sorry for being long winded (doubt anyone will even read this far, lol) and even ranting a bit, but I felt it was important to make this change.
