101 - Spirit body Level 90 New sub-abilities

“Atta girl,” said Levi with a smile as he closed the space in front of him which was just seconds ago projecting what was happening in the Beifong estate.

He didn’t like to spy on people, and he has been a victim of spying as well, but he wanted to make sure everything went smoothly and to interfere if something went wrong, in the end Toph was able to handle it herself.

“I like her master, she’s brave and strong, and also small like me,” said Medusa from the side, her tongue flickering in and out.

‘Hah, caught the crap,’ Acnologia sent through their telepathic link making Levi smile.

“Hey, what do you mean by that? Did you just call me a liar?” Medusa’s angry voice shot back.

‘Yes,’ Acnologia replied immediately stunning her.

“Master, you can’t let him talk to me like that, do something,” she snapped, shooting Acnologia a glare before directing a pleading one toward Levi.

“Sure,” said Levi, holding both of them before teleporting them to opposite sides of the local spirit world.

“Finally some peace and quiet,” thought Levi releasing a deep breath before focusing back on his spirit body.

It was already Level 89 almost Level 90, he made up his mind to not leave the spirit world until he leveled it up, he wondered what kind of new ability he would receive this time.

Each time spirit body leveled up by ten levels he had received a broken ability, making his excitement this time even more than before.

AN: Yes Acnologia and Medusa can share the telepathic link, as long as Levi allows it.

It was the middle of the night, and it was even darker in the middle of the woods where Sokka, who was coming back from answering nature's call, felt two taps on his shoulder.

His body froze in place and turned cold, his face turned a shade of white as blood left it and although he had just answered his nature call he felt it knocking on his door once again. Shakily turning his head around he looked behind him and saw nothing! 

Instead of feeling relieved, he was even more terrified, an enemy he could see he could fight, but there was nothing scarier than the unknown.

“MOMMYYYY,” he screamed as he ran as fast as he could towards Katara and Aang.

“What’s his problem?” Toph, who was too short to be spotted in the dark, tilted her head in confusion as she looked at the running Sokka before deciding to follow after him.

“I am telling you there was nobody there,” said Sokka, his fist slamming on his knee and jaw tightening, his eyes kept darting to the woods.

“Come on Sokka, you might have just missed her in the dark,” said Katara, putting a hand over her mouth but failing miserably to cover her laugh.

“Heh, and they call ME blind,” said Toph from the side, her voice dripping with exaggeration as she rolled her eyes, Katara and Aang could barely contain their laughter.

“I say we tie her up until Levi comes back, we’re not even sure it’s her,” said Sokka pointing his shaky finger at Toph.

“You’re welcome to try Scaredy-cat,” said Toph as she stepped up towards Sokka who took a step back.

“Alright alright settle down you two, there is no need for that, I am sure Toph is not a ghost so you can relax,” said Katara stepping between them, barely holding her laugh back.

“How do you know? HOW?” shouted Sokka as he backed up even further away.

“BOO,” Toph shouted all of a sudden using earth bending to rush towards Sokka.

“AHHHH,” he screamed as loud as he could, jumping to hide behind Appa.

Aang and Katara finally lost it and started rolling on the ground in laughter, holding their stomachs.

A flood of notifications bombarded Levi’s vision, he could barely read them all and he had to rewind some of them, seeing his spirit body reaching Level 90 he couldn’t hold his excitement, even more so when he felt his other spirit body abilities becoming stronger, but what made him jump in place was something else.

‘Two new sub-abilities?’ He thought, usually he only received one ability every ten levels, this had only happened once before with purification and sealing but he wasn’t complaining.

Seeing the description of Possession Levi had to resist the urge to shout in joy, ‘This is just what I need, Now if…when I go to other worlds I can blend in immediately’

‘If I level it up high enough I can even possess the fire lord and directly end the war,’ thought Levi, but he didn’t want to try that for now, he knew that something was bound to happen if he tried to do that, fate wouldn’t allow it.

‘Hmmm, Endowment could also be useful in certain scenarios but I don’t plan to be a charity…wait!’ thought Levi before his eyes widened, and he sat up straighter. For a moment, he froze, then a slow grin spread across his face.

‘Isn’t this the perfect match to go with theft?’ he thought, ‘With this I can even steal bending and give it to other people, I can give Sokka bending!’ 

‘I can also create and implant thoughts into other people's heads, but I doubt it can work at level 1, I need to level it up more’

‘I might even be able to heal myself by giving my injuries to someone else, the possibilities are endless.’

“Master, that was so mean, why did you teleport me away.” Medusa’s voice came from the side, each word like a blade directed at Levi, she got out through a distortion in space and started bombarding Levi with questions.

“Huh? Did something happen? Why are you smiling like that?” her sharp voice caught off all of a sudden as she felt something wrong.

Grabbing her by the neck Levi activated Limit breaker and used his throwing skill in tandem with it, throwing her as far as he could.

“MASTEEEER? WHYYYY…?” she screamed as she disappeared into the horizon.

“Wait, you know what? Let's test possession,” thought Levi with an evil grin on his face as he looked at the still air-borne Medusa, reaching his hand it despaired and grabbed her thousands of feet away, before pulling her back through the space portal.

“Master, I knew you would see reason eventually, you actually have a big heart but like to pretend you don't, you little softy,” she said, hushing her voice as if she was spilling some kind of secret.

Hearing her Levi couldn’t help but feel guilty about what he was about to do, but it wasn’t enough to change his mind, “Medusa, stay still and don’t move ok?” 

“Huh? Why?” she asked but Levi didn’t give her a reply.

Focusing on her small white body Levi started using possession, he felt a similar sensation to when he used his spirit body as his body slowly started to turn corporal.

Medusa felt something wrong as her body started shaking, “Ma…Master?” her head leaned backward a little but she couldn’t escape from what was coming. 

Right after that Levi’s body disappeared and Medusa’s vision went dark.

When Levi regained his vision again the first thing he noticed was that he was shorter, he looked down but the only thing that greeted him was a white scaly snake body.

“Succes,” said the white snake in excitement.

‘Although I succeeded in the possession I still didn’t get any of her memories, which could pose a problem in the future,’ thought Levi as he started slithering around while thinking.

He was already used to transforming into different shapes using his spirit bonding so he didn’t find it uncomfortable or weird being in her body he controlled it as if it were his own.

‘But nonetheless, this is a huge asset, it could come in handy in all sorts of situations, and most of all espionage, could I solve the problem of the lack of memories with Theft? I should test that later.’

‘Although, possession is still only level 1, so why did it succeed so easily? Is it because she’s my bond spirit?’ question after question kept repeating in Levi’s mind but he decided to throw them to the back of his head for now and tackle them one by one later.

With a flash of light, Levi appeared sitting cross-legged on the ground facing Medusa just like he had before entering her body.

“Huh? Why Am I facing this way?” Medusa said in a confused voice before she saw Levi, “Master, I didn’t move I swear,” 

‘What is she saying…’ thought Levi before remembering what he said before possessing her.

‘Medusa, stay still and don’t move ok?’ 

‘Does that mean the target will have no idea of being possessed?’ 

“Medusa, do you feel anything different from before?” he asked to make sure.

“Uh..um, no master, although I think I was standing a bit to the left” she replied, her snake head tilting in thought.

‘So the target will have no idea they have been possessed, but they’ll know something is wrong if I mess with their environment,’ thought Levi.

‘Hmm, how should I go about testing Endowment?’ thought Levi before coming up with an idea.

‘I should go away and Leave master alone,’ thought Levi before using Theft on that thought.

Right after Levi felt as if there was a blank space in his memory, as if he had forgotten something, but try as he may he couldn’t remember what it was that he had forgotten.

He knew what he was going to do, he was going to use Endowment to give Medusa a thought he had just stolen from himself, ‘But what was that thought?’ he couldn’t remember, and so he did the only thing he could think of, he used endowment on himself.

‘I should go away and Leave master alone.’ the thought seamlessly appeared in his head, and if it weren’t for its peculiarity Levi wouldn’t have realised it wasn’t his own.

‘This could be problematic in the future,’ he thought before conjuring two thoughts in his mind.

‘I should go away and Leave master alone.’

‘I am going to give Medusa the thought of Leaving me alone.’ 

After that he used Theft again on the first thought, this time he knew what kind of thought was in his possession and used Endowment to give it to Medusa. He waited for her to show any reaction or figure out he had done something to her but there was nothing.

“Master, I am going to hang out with Acnologia. Why don’t you rest, ok?” she said her voice soft before despairing with a distortion in space. 

‘Now that is one dangerous ability,’ thought Levi feeling a chill go up his spine, ‘The ability to influence others to do your bidding without them realizing it, and this is just one aspect of Endowment, I need to do more tests,’ he thought before teleporting from there.

Some time later Levi stood on a sea of colorful clouds, cloud spirits gathered around him staring at him like he was some kind of abnormality.

‘So it only worked on Medusa because she is bound to me,’ he thought, directing an impatient glance at the cloud spirit making them shiver in fear before exhaling sharply.

He had just finished testing Possession and Endowment on them, and although he could effortlessly use it on weak spirits it failed every time the moment he tried to use it on a slightly stronger or smarter one.

‘I’ll need to focus on Leveling them up in the future,’ thought Levi, feeling a huge burden on his shoulders, he already had a lot of abilities he was trying to level up, and now there were two more.

“Wait wait wait, which one of you is that avatar again?” asked Toph, holding her head with both hands.

Levi had come back this morning spending half an hour convincing Sokka who hadn’t slept all night that Toph wasn’t a ghost, and they were currently riding on top of Appa.

“He is,” said Sokka exasperated, pointing towards Aang who smiled wildly, Toph couldn’t see that.

“He who? I AM BLIND.” she snapped at him.

“Oh, sorry, I meant Aang the air nomad,” said Sokka, directing his gaze away from Toph as he fidgeted in place.

“But how come he can also bend other elements,” said Toph pointing to the side, at Momo who looked at her in confusion.

“Ugh..That’s not, you know what never mind, he just can ok?” said Sokka, throwing his head back and releasing a deep breath.

“That sounds like an avatar to me,” said Toph, shrugging her shoulders.

“He isn’t,” said Sokka tiredly falling on his back.

“I am confused,” said Toph.

“It’s ok Toph, you'll learn to accept it with time,” said Aang, his voice light and happy.

“Thanks, Twinkle toes,” said Toph, she had still ended up giving Aang the same nickname even though they didn’t fight like in the show.

“How are they tracking us? This is the third time they found us already,” said Katara as she looked at the Fire Nation iron tank chasing after them on the ground.

“It might be all this white fur giving our tracks away, but hey, I am just guessing here,” said Levi holding a handful of white fur.

“Should we deal with them?” asked Toph.

“Yes YOU guys should definitely deal with them,” said Levi as he closed his eyes back in meditation.

“We, what about you?” asked Katara, her woman’s intuition was tingling again but she couldn’t tell why, she even started doubting it now that it had acted up out of nowhere.

“I…Ugh…I want you to stop relying on me so much and be independent,” said Levi. Nodding his head like a wise sage.

“Why this all of a sudden and why now?” asked Katara, her eyes narrowing.

‘Because Azula is with them and I don’t know how to deal with this situation?’ thought Levi but he didn’t voice it out loud, the others were fine, but Katara would never let him hear the end of it, and she also knew about Tala, it scared him even thinking about it.

“Just deal with it and leave me alone, I am taking a nap,” he said as he turned his back to them and started snoring.
