Such a great line, one of my favorites in the entire series, and one that rings very true. (Oda revealed this in an SBS) Tsuru's Devil Fruit is the Wash-Wash Fruit, is a Paramecia type power that lets her literally "wash and hang out to dry" people as well as objects, turning them flat and malleable like fabric. This power disables her opponents by rendering them unable to move, it is also stated that her wash is capable of "cleaning" a limited amount of evil and malice off the hearts of the victims.... which is considered a very dangerous ability against Pirates. (think of it as a stronger version of Kalifa's Bubble-Bubble Fruit).
