And with these episodes we have entered one of my favourite portions of the show. The first class mage exam is a blast to experience and introduces so many cool and interesting characters. As always I love how the shows ability to make "doing nothing" interesting. All the various montages and slow parts provide so much depth to the characters and makes the exciting parts all the more special. Side note the "noise" they talked about at the very end of the episode was actually rain. They had mentioned there was a magical barrier around the testing area so Kanne could hear the rain hitting the barrier. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the rest of the exam and all the additional characters.
