I love how in this World... Marceline is called "The Star", continuing the Tarot Theme of the Vampires from the Stakes Mini-series. The Tarot Card of the Star has following meaning: - Inspiration, Hope for the Future, Renewed sense of Self and feeling of "Being Blessed by Universe". Which does align pretty well with REGULAR Marceline, not this evil one tho. Although... you could argue that the meaning for "The Star" title could be how The Vampire King views Marceline, as he is her Father Figure in this world and seems to genuinely care about her. There's also the reverse meaning of the Card which is Hopelessness, Lack of Faith and Despair. And since the episode is also called "The Star".... those labels apply pretty well for this world. Martin is an actual decent dude here, and it probably has to do with him not suffering that hit in the heat he got in the main timeline.... which makes his death here even more tragic. "How could you bring a Child into this world?!" "It was an accident!" Wow, that got kinda real there xdddddd. The Vampire King's development in the Stakes Mini-series happened due to Marceline hunting his kind to extinction in the main timeline, so it makes sense that here... where Vampires thrived.... he still acts like a Villain. Also here's a list of all the cameos in Hana Abadeer's party: - Bella Noche (Anti-magic being) - Magic Man - Ron James - Ricardio - Carol (the cloud lady) - Samantha (the Dog lady from "The Pit") - Tiny Manticore - Gridface Princess - Xergiok the Goblin King - Doctor Princess - Prison Guard Demon (from "Return to the Nightosphere") - Bandit Princess - Kee-Oth (The Demon from "The Pit) - James Baxter - Maja the Sky Witch - The Crabbit (Maja's Familiar) - Eberhardt (The Pianist guy from "Henchmen") - A guy who i think is a reference to either Sesame Street or Don't Hug Me Im Scared". There are other background characters in the party but i still can't figure out their identities.
