Yeah, l was caught off guard with the blood and the cursing at first too. But I am glad HBO picked it up, us that grew up with this show as kids are now adults, and it's like the show grew up with us. It's funny, cause I was around Finn's age when the show started lol, seeing him as an adult is nice and I like when shows age up the characters. I can only think of one other cartoon that did this called As Told by Ginger where the characters basically got older season by season.

2025-10-09 12:57:32 +0000 UTCIn this episode we see a glimpse of how Finn "copes" with Jake through how he was trying to comfort Simon. Rather than confronting his feelings head on, he goes on adventures to distract himself and even told Simon that there isnt use thinking about sad things, even though it was seemingly helping Simon talk about the past. Very sad for both Finn and Simon :(
