2025-10-04 02:44:22 +0000 UTCTequila Wolf is probably my favorite of all the places Kuma sent the Straw Hats... the vibe is a lot more bleak and somber... and even the way the characters are portrayed feels very different from what Oda usually does. I have big praise for Toei Animation for transforming just a couple of Cover Pages in the Manga into a compelling and fleshed-out story like this one (also Soran is just the cutest girl). I also really like Tequila Wolf because it shows you just how large this world is, this area is located in the East Blue.... the same sea Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji started their journey.... but here we see a very cold climate... instead of the usually mild and warm climates we saw in the East Blue Saga. Also... curiously.... Tequila Wolf has been in construction for 700 years, and in case you don't remember... that's exactly when the "Void Century" ended and the World Goverment was founded. "I wonder who is the furthest from the Ship" well... Franky, Usopp, Zoro and Brook were sent to different islands in the Grand Line... so it would be sensible to assume they are the closest to the ship (who specifically is the closest is a much more difficult question). Both Luffy and Sanji were sent to Islands located in the Calm Belts.... that means they could be either closer to the ship.... just as far as the previous 4... or significantly farther away, there's no way to tell. But the 2 who ended up the farthest away are definitely Chopper and Robin.... as they were sent to islands located in the South Blue and East Blue respectively, AKA outside of the Grand Line. Not much to say about Usopp's part... as it is my second least favorite of the bunch...... but Heracles'n is very funny.
